Hey, in order to keep this forum nice and tidy I am making this thread. If you guys want to guess or speculate about the release date, please do so right here. Everything will be much easier if we keep it all organized, instead of making a new thread every other day.

Anyway, my educated guess of a release date for All-Pro Football 2K8 is July 24, 2007.

It has been awhile but I am back with some more inside scoop about ALL PRO FOOTBALL 2K8 or APF2k8 as most people are using. I am pretty sure my sources is accurate with the release date. Not a 100 % positive but if I was a betting Man I would either win, lose, or draw with this Speculation Release date. There is two possible scenerios and here is the date it will most likely be. It will be release in the week from JUNE 18-23, 2007 or it will be released the week of JULY 16-21, 2007. Now if My sources stand correct I should be on point with these dates. It will however not be release along side Madden 08. But it could be because i also got scoop that 2ksports is not just making a new football game but there is believe to be 2 games in one possibly Espn 2k5 will be ported inside the game as a port game making one reason the game was never ported from the original Xbox to the 360. Then again this is only rumors from my sources. But in the release dates I am pretty sure those are the dates....To all my fellow Friends goodbye for now and thank God for November 2001 for Xbox... until next time the inside scoop

I bought a game in EB games yesterday and asked about all pro football and they told me August 15 (the computer said so)......I know it is probably not going to be released on this date exactly but it will be somewhere around there!!!

I'm gonna guess late June, I'll say the 26th. If it releases in July it would have to compete with NCAA 08 and in August would have to compete with Madden, and while it'll likely be a much better game than both NCAA and Madden, I really don't think it can go toe-to-toe with either game in the market place - it will lack both name recognition and an NCAA logo or NFL logo stuck on the front. Secondly, it could take the "Get your football fix early this year" similar to EA's college baseball game.

The release date for NFL2K5 was originally in August when it was announced, and then as we all know, it was released much earlier. There's been no confirmation on the release date. I would expect a bit more information come E3. Also, the link on the homepage takes you to Gamestop.com, which tells you nothing, and that it's not a date set by affiliation with Take Two.

The only thing I don't like is that with NCAA and Madden both coming out in August and supposedly this game is suppose to come out before those we havent seen anything as far as real screen shots.
There was that in the GI issue, but as far as internet released Screen shots nothing.

I do have my reason and I am very very excited because I was right about something that 2ksports is doing so far and I am pretty much sure it will continue. All I got to say is Expect pictures or some type of teaser Video towards the end of this Month. There will be a Video for All Pro Football 2k8 around June 5,2007. Nah... I think 2K is keeping everything secretive so EA has no clue what is going to hit them. If 2K spills the beans with info it only helps EA. While the gamers like us want info and gameplay movies etc... EA wants it more to see how they can derail anything either with lawyers or more BS hyping of Madden. Sit tight people. Play your other games and let 2K8 FB Explode onto the scene when the time right. That would be August 14th.

First let me say I'm a huge fan of 2ksports but we have to be real. This game has to come out on July 31 2007. It would be crazy to release this game the same day as Madden. You can't change a Madden fan. I'm a little surprise at the price but i guess they have to make their money. While I, like most everyone else, would like the release date to be before Madden, we need to be patient and let 2k release the game when it is finished and polished. I don't want to see this game fall between the cracks because it was released before it was ready.

Just watched the trailer and then IMMEDIATELY went to EB games website and it also has a date of July 16th. Which is all well and good.

That leaves just one question?

How soon til we see a demo?

I know 2K wanted to promo NBA 2K7 soo much they released a demo weeks ahead of time (IIRC), so it would stand to reason we should be seeing a demo soon.

Based on the screens and the trailer the game looks good already so I would hope it wouldn't take much to disable a few features and a leave in 2 to 4 playable teams for a quarter (or even better a WHOLE HALF) and get a demo on Live quickly.

That would hype this game even more.

actually it's comming out the 16 or 17th. that's pretty much fact - i don't know why people are speculating earlier based on the jersey's on the cover (starting in the middle and jumping to conclusions) that's a joke...the game is comming out on the 16th or 17th depending on retail shipping and diff. stores. even 2k reps have confirmed this, people who think differently are the same people who still believe there will be a franchise mode.

I gave up on the mid-July release date idea. You would think if the release date were a month away, they would announce it. At least within a month. It seems highly unlikely that 2k would come around July 3rd or something and say "Yep, July 16 it is!" They would probably have told us by now.

your store doesn't know when they're getting it. all video stores, gaming stores, etc., use speculated release dates, as reported by their suppliers. As you can see, companies have reported to be shipping the game on the 16th. Your supplier probably used earlier information to supply you with a date.

usually though on speculative dates it will say 12/31 or have a Tuesday date in future. That's why I'm more hopefull, but it's hardly a guarantee. If I see # of copies listed then I'll get more excited.

Often the speculated times will be more concrete. You may have noticed that The Darkness on PS3 was listed for (from memory) the 26th of June. This was the original word from the supplier. However, it got delayed as time went on.

The thing is, no one knows exactly when it'll come out. Apart from a rough estimate given by 2K over a month ago, there have been NO developments on this matter. If no one in the world knows the updated release date apart from 2K themselves, and they're not willing to share this info yet, then neither does your store
