View Full Version : Put "Opportunity Knocks" in APF 2k8

They had this feature in NHL 2k7 and it is totally awesome. When you get messages you occaisionally get phone calls and they give you little messages such as
-Jarome Iginla broke his stick and loses (insert attribute for the next 3 games)
-Accounting Department found extra money and we have X extra dollars until the end of the season
These things are so great because I have yet to see the same one twice, and it forces you to tweak your rosters and move people around, and give certain people more or less playing time. This would be amazing if APF added something like this for once 2nd and 3rd string guys could actually do something than stand on the sidelines and collect a paycheck.

Theres alot of NFL players who sit on the bench and collect a paycheck..

sounds like a cool idea. I just dont want something that becomes an annoyance though... kinda like the players getting in trouble in NCAA all the time eventhough they have A+ discipline.

never tried ncaa games. they have an actual "discipline" stats?
i'd like to see that in normal sports games, like TO or half the Bengals players having an F.

thats what this would kind of be like. It could make players rise or fall ever so slighty or they could have massive ramifications, it would keep franchise mode fresh
