This will be a legacy following the coaching trials of William Gooden, from his first head coaching job at North Florida to a championship and beyond.

Bio: William Gooden began his playing career in Jacksonville at the Bolles Academy. Playing SG and PG for them, he led them to a state championship in 1997. Following the '97 season, he stayed local and attended Jacksonville University. Playing SG, he was a team and conference leader in steals, assists, ppg, and 3pt%, averaging a triple-double. Upon finishing his playing career, however he went undrafted. Signing a contract with the Celtics during the 2002 season, he played in fourteen games, averaging nine points and four steals per game. During a game, he was severly injured during landing after a dunk. He tore his ACL and MCL, and his anterior talofibular ligament in his ankle. Following surgery to repair the damage, he decided to pursue a career in coaching accepting a job at Jacksonville University. In 2006 North Florida called, giving William his first head coaching job.
