I would like to see it be on the cover other than an overhyped franchise but I guess it's better than nothing.

Quick name the last sports game (simulation) to be on the cover of any of the major magazines.
Can't recall the last one? Exactly. Yearly sports titles are not worthy of magazine covers, even those returning from the grave.
GTA is many things. Overhyped is not one of them. Rockstar does a terrific job of holding back info and teasing the consumer. Similar to what Bungie does with Halo. Of course when you release a trailer that knocks down multiple sites due to traffic load (see yesterdays trailer) it appears there is far more demand then you give credit for.

a little off topic, but i'm digging the russian for the main character. CJ was like a 'gangster do-gooder' ...it wasn't right. Ray liotta was awesome and pulled it off nicely...The russian will be cool, and it hasn't been done before for a main character.
That is actually a really cool looking issue...i never buy gamer mag's but I may pick this one up, unless websites get all the APF info and I know all there is to know.

Based on when the last one hit around 3 weeks. Of course there really is no need to buy it, because by the time it hits the stands the magazine will have been scanned many times over and freely available at most sites that allow scans of US magazines.

I liked the little twist (Russian) although I think using someone like a Leon "The Professional movie" with the loner hitman for hire aspect would have been a nice way to go too.

You are right about the sports thing but I break down games like movies and truth is that if you take out meaniless things in the game. That in my opinion only anyone from the ages of 10-18 could get enjoyment out of the is C class at best but thats just my opinion.

This is awesome. We knew it would happen, but it's nice to see it confirmed. Sports titles, even the almighty Madden, never get the cover. I'm impressed that this gets a mention at the top of the cover. It's the only thing mentioned besides GTA. The only reason why I'll be skeptical when picking up the issue is coz Gamestop will think I like GTA IV. I won't even bother to look at the pictures....APF!!!

Knowing how 2K loves innovation in thier games, you can't put it past them or underestimate tem.
The VIP system in 2k5 was the best innovative feature ever seen in a football game, nothing similair has been seen since because we all know EA isn't gonna bring nothing like that to madden.

Then again, FPF might of been considered a breakthrough, atleast hyped to be, at its time.
Anyway, I cant wait. Ill probably pick the mag up myself, cause the GTA bit interests me aswell.

I expect APF 2k8 to have at least 7 new features that 2k5 didn't have. Some of those breakthrough for football period.
1). Euphoria tackling based system.
2). Most unbelievable editors to date. Helmets, logos, uniforms, stadiums, equipment.
3). Signature styles- Qb throwing motions, running back styles, running styles stride ect.
4). Real time lighting.
5). Spot specific grass.
6). Player create from NBA 2k7.
7). New presentation pregame, halftime, weekly, postgame. Franchise with players getting in trouble suspensions, everything the NFL is ashamed of.

Yea, i expect to see those too.
I also hope that pratice squads are added soplayers can be signed from them to take the place of players on the active roster who end up on injured reserve......

Many people over look this, but lighting is a big deal. I don't know what it is about the stadium overpass shadows and contrasts, but it adds something to the graphics that takes the game to the next level. 2K5 had this down tight at Ralph Wilson Stadium (play during the day), Texas Stadium (play during the afternoon), and Reliant Stadium (play during the afternoon). I wish 2K had fooled around with this more.
I'll tell you what I'd like to see, and I know we probably won't, but still... I'd like to see a function that lets me create my own lighting/overpass shadows; the shape, the frequency that they appear, and the speed in which they move across the field. I know, I'm dreaming, but I had to put it out there...
If anyone is curious, just play a game at the stadiums and times I mentioned. It's hot.

And the "I'm glad" statement he made was being sarcastic. He was taking a knock at Madden by saying it's the same game every year but with updated rosters. So stop being lame and bashing him on a forum. Learn how to read.

Jwilson has trouble writing coherent sentences. That isn't our fault; his message can easily be confusing because it was so poorly written.

Easy.... easy.... the guy sounds like he is making FUN of EA, if I'm reading this correctly.
The first statement is proof of this. The second one is more like sarcasm.
Either that or a simple typo. Maybe he highlighted too much and took out one too many words. Happens all the time to casual posters who are not looking to impress people on a message board.
But I could be wrong, so maybe he will comeback and clear things up.

He keeps making a lot of references with regard to homosexuality.

Need i remind you of the age old adage about those who argue over the internet?
The adage is a bad one. It tries to remove human behavior from communication, which can't be done. The same thing could be attempted for arguing over the phone, or in a letter, etc. it doesn't hold any weight.
As long as Human beings are dealing, there will be disagreements. As long as there are disagreements, there'll be arguments. It doesn't matter what medium you use. Of course, I've tried to end the arguments by ignoring them, but I can't stop them from continuing.
C'mon boys, quit you're whining and contribute to the boards!
I'm certainly not whining. I handled the situation. I've contributed a lot here, these children who pop up out of nowhere, who know nothing about anything, running their mouths... they've contributed nothing here, and they've probably contributed nothing anywhere in their entire lives. That's probably the reason they come here to vent their frustrations.

Grow up. You're boasting about having people on your ignore list on a message board, to the extent that you have people listed in your sig. It really doesn't get any more dopey and pathetic than that. Go outside.
But somehow your post was supposed to be a maturity barometer? The very fact that you signed up and wasted the time to post an insult on someone you've had no history with shows that you lack maturity (and intelligence).
The board has an ignore function. I have to use it because people around here, like yourself, lack the basic ability to be civil. I post in my sig who I've listed for two reasons:
1. So that maybe they'll stop running their mouths and realize that I can't see what they're writing anymore, which if they do stop it will be good for the community.
2. Maybe they'll get angry, go too far, and get banned.
#2 is big because quite frankly the people on the list have contributed nothing since they've signed up, have only caused trouble, and really don't belong here anyway. Them being banned will only help the community.
And, yes I will add you to the list now since you fall into the categories described. Don't like it? Neither do I. If you guys would quit acting like dumbazzez I wouldn't have to keep shutting you out. How do you not understand something so simple?

Hey, i still have respect for NFL cuz i have seen him contribute a lot to these boards but let me just defend my anti-internet-arguing statement.
Arguments over the net tend to be much less sincere since people feel as if they can say things they wouldn't normally say in a real world setting. they tend to be far more hostile and a lot more un-reasonable. There is no personability for it, and the only interaction that occurs between the two people is over the computer so no person feels accountable for what they say. this leads to people saying really dumb stuff and also leads to people lying to prove points and being un-reasonable. Arguing over the internet will not achieve anything. But with that said, a good point is made in saying that Humans = Conflict and as long as you are dealing with humans you will ALWAYS have conflict. this is because none of us are the same! we all have different viewpoints and personalities, and they clash. What we have to learn to do is be more open to these different types of viewpoints and personalities so there is less fighting and we can convene as one contributing board.

I honestly don't think I'm making a big deal of it though. The list is a function of the board; 2K created that function, I'm just using it. These guys that are jawing are useless to the community. I'd like nothing better than to see them gone. If what I'm doing helps that happen, then it's mission accomplished. If not, it's still good because I don't have to read their crap.
I've had to deal with this all before, and I left here because of it. I don't want this to turn out like it did the last time, so the best way for me to take control of the situation is to use the ignore list function.

We're Adults, so we communicate like Adults should. But some of these other guys around here go into Armageddon mode, exploding with insults in their very first posts, lol. Who are these guys?
X, you know what my thoughts were about returning here... I was only coming back because of the football game, and at the time I was telling you about things it didn't look like a game was ever coming. Now that we know there is one, I am happy to be back in support of it, but this influx of guys taking potshots is just reminding why I left in the first place and it's beginning to not be fun again. If I didn't ignore list these guys, I'd have no choice but to leave. Things would be unbearable.

Lets just talk about the game in here.................
One idea i though would be great for the game, what the game is based around internet play and instead of 11 man teams the teams consist of of 22 players a team. So each individual has a specific duty just like if they were actually on a team. So for instance a player that plays safety only is capable of watching the game while the offense was on the field. So when we join a team instead of made up players you put your own information on the players profile and jersey. So it puts you more into the game. I was also thinking that a team could also consist of those individuals that never really got into the aspect of playing football but more into the strategy concept of playing. Eventually maybe 2k can establish a league where there is a grand prize for the winner, and possibly find comglomerates, like reebok, Walmart, Target and so forth that are willing to sponser a team make the decisions for coaching and signing players based on how well they perform. And if you are a player that can really make a difference like a quarterback that has 20 TD's and 2 INT's when signed to a companies team you can earn money for consistancy or just simply because you are a top prospect.
Please share ideas..........

and when i was regarding to those that are more into the aspect of strategy each team can also consist of a coach. That is a primary decision maker

plus the company that sponsors a team gains exposure within the players and headlines giving them more publicity not only throughout the gaming world but throughtout publicity just like they do when they sponsor small time leagues, or put their logos on games because they know it will make a difference

I honestly don't understand it myself. I mean, you and I have not always agreed on everything, but I didn't attack you because you disagreed, nor did you attack me.

Bomerball and all. Now you tell me who tried to stop?
This dude is a liar beyond compare.
It is hard to carry on a conversation with someone not willing to listen and only twist your words. So as of now I'm done.
GoodSense, now you're acting like a baby.
Nobody twisted your words. How could I? I used your own quotes verbatim, lol.
You've made statements that you clearly have not been able to back up. Point the finger at yourself for it. I don't speak for you, YOU speak for you.
SEE!?
I tried to stop but he insisted on his rampage. THEN he puts me on his ignore list as if that is suppose to define the end of the world for me.
If you read further in the thread you will see he went too far.
I tried to respect the boards rules by not offering responses on his level, but that didn't help. It appeared to only boost his ego.

Nice idea, but how many people do you think would be willing to play the positions that don't get the highlights? OL
I mean what you are saying I think is do able, and would definitely put an end to the DL Glitch and QB Spy stuff because everyone is manually controlled right?
If Ghost can put together a game that allows for multiple players then why not sports?
The one thing they would have to account for is that weak link that drops out at a position.
The AI would have to takeover for that player until they reconnect.
Oh... I would still like more than 22 players, because injury is part of the game.
It would just mean you would have to take on the role of the replacement.
Hopefully 2k is reading this suggestion.

It could also be set up so that in order to join a league you would have to have atlest two seasons under your belt before you can even attempt to join a league. That way the teams doing the "signing" could make a decision based on legitimate statistics. Also there could be a monitor on many times your you lost a connection during a game just as they did in the original fight night. So it could also be based on your past experiences not only with play but ability to finish a game, such as in real life when it comes to players consistancy via. illness, deaht in the family, injury so forth. So if a player is real good, 120 tackles 3 picks 5 sacks etc but he/ she are alsways getting disconnected via their internet or whatever they would fall as a prospect.
This is a more far fetched idea but,
in regards to what would happen if a player is cut off during an important game then if it ever was a situation where companies sponsored teams then back ups could be signed and must attend each and every game, until the position was filled correctly, until there are no longer any more back ups then the computer fills in. There fore even if all you are is a back up then you must attend each game. Although I really doubt that anyone would consistantly attend games to just watch even if they were getting paid.
Also it is evident and has been seen by prior posts taht there are actually people that think playing positions such as OL and so forth are fucn, and are willing to play these postitions even if it means that is al they would play.
However I do believe in my original idea stated earlier in the forum, it is very possible for 2k to promote this game in such a way that teams represent a company and YOU are the player in the game that is signed to whatever position desired. In retrospect companies are always looking for ways to advertise in games, ie Gatoraide, Toyota, Reebok, Mororola. And this could be the first game to implement a NCAA (Basketball) type of playoffs between comp[anies within a video game. However 2k would definitaly have to push hard why there game is the best and why it would benefit these companies not only to sponsor a team but to have the best players possible and WIN.

the concept of 11 v 11 online has already been discussed. but with pro evelution soccer ( winning eleven in north america). the next game out will have 11 v 11 online.
maybe 2k should wait and see how konami does with it first. i think in theory, its great, but in reality, i dont think it will work out very good, for the obvious reasons.

^^^ Well I do believe this is a great idea. I saw this idea a while ago on the Gamespot forum and read people's opinions. Someone said that this would be like a sports game's "Halo Clan" but instead of a clan, it would be a team. And he had the idea of even someone being the Coach (clan leader) and just calling the plays. I think it's cool. But tons of people wouldn't want to be offensive lineman obviously. And you'd have a big issue with people quitting. Some people would want to quit just to quit. And other times you'd have people quitting if your team was getting blown out or whatever. I think it would be hard to get 22 people, which really means 44 people. It would be easier to just have 11 people and have each person play offense and defense. Like someone plays WR on offense and DB on defense. Or O-lineman play D-lineman as well, that way they get to do something and feel like they are contributing. The less people, the easier to pull off. But this idea presents alot of ups and downs. I think some of the criticisms I named were some of the 'obvious' reasons lions was talking about.

April 2nd, 2007, 02:38 PM
^ those are the obvouis reasons. i like the idea, i do, but 22 v 22 will never happen.
11 v 11 is also going to be very difficult. in the soccer game, you ten guys plus the keeper.in that game it would be easier i think to play the 11 v 11 as the game is always moving. in football, it will be hard to get a guy who's only job is to snap the ball and block, you know what i mean?.....in soccer, you will have the same thing when it comes to the goalie....who wants to just sit there all game long?...
if it happens, i will play it no doubt, dont get me wrong, but i just dont think it will work very well right now.

Understood, allow me to demonstrate, Within Madden, which although most of us hate the game we are still very conscience of what features due in part to the games huge success. Now although 2k currently has no where near the same capacity of fan base, the process of finding individuals that really take just football serious regardless of the videgame aspect would not be difficult. For instance, with Madden the game sold some 300 Million copies or so and reguraly in discussion with how the game plays i constantluy hear individuals talking about the lead blocking control. Although, you can switch back to the running back after making a big block regardless if that person does or not is not the case. Alot of individuals just simply like the fun factor of laying some one on there back whether it is one time or many. Granted their will be some who become bored with the position however in that case yes there can be intense AI factored into the situation if that individual decides no longer to show for games. But back to my earlier point there are alot of individuals that just like blocking, because it is something they have done before on a team or they know how important the position is. Example; Blocking a DL or LB is alot like a matchup in FIght Night it is all back and forth.
To intensify the experience it could be taken a step further where coach of what ever sponsored team you play for sends you a playbook at the beginning of the week via email or 2k user page. Now obviously there is alot that could go on with that as well, people not practicing, knowing their role, but as long as you get the jest of what to do, during a game the play should be visible to everyone on Offense or Defense. So more is put into the responsibility and experience one must have to play the position. And if your team has players that cant block well than maybe your team switches to a zone block, meaning your responibilities change almost every play. JUST A COUPLE IDEAS SO THOSE OF US WHO DONT LIKE TO PLAY OL UNDERSTAND THAT TO SOME IT IS OR COULD BE ENTERTAINING.
As well I think the reason we all play this game is for the realism. And there are som many of us that would love to get back on the field (pee wee, H.S., College etc) I think just the aspect of being a part of a team again and feeling closer to what used to be could alone make some one step back into a position they are used to, OL. And like I said if it could be organized and sponsored by Big Companies that also could be a way for some one to feel committed, you dont play? We dont pay.

I think we all like the idea if it can be pulled off, but playing OL in real life versus on a video came might... might... be hard to maintain. As someone said earlier, let that QB throw 2 or 3 picks and your OL along with a bunch of other people might drop on you.
OL is extremely important which we all know.
But most players look for that highlight position and OL is rare.
Now some will find it interesting to keep that Pro Bowl Defensive Linemen contained.
Maybe with it being all manual it would make it more of a sell.
It sounds good. Really. The question is how many others would buy into it.
A good ad campaign might do the trick, but there still is the other issue.
One on One... people drop like crazy or want to call it quits because they are losing or see the game as a loss. They won't take it to the final whistle.
Now... imagine this in an Eleve on Eleven game.
How they would handle that would be the key.

well now that i have given it some more thought, maybe it could work. but for it to work and to keep the gamer "into" the game, i think the presentation would have to be different for all the positions. such as, if your an OL man, your field of vision would be almost like a headcam if you know what i mean. the option to change your view should also be included as well so the gamer doesnt tire of that view as well.
interesting, who knows?

I know what yall are saying about no one wanting to play OL. But that's why i said my idea. Double-up positions. Have it to where only 11 people are on the team. And have them play offense and defense. That way, people who play OL will play DL and have a reason to stay. Because you can get sacks or rush the QB, etc. Another example would be like a WR plays CB. And the QB i guess would be the safety. This way you wouldn't need 22 people to play. You'd only need 11 people playing offense and defense. And people who are OL would be more likely to stick around for the defensive side of it. I don't know if this makes sense to people.

regarding 11 vs. 11 gameplay, yeah i think it would work if you have rotating positions. This could be done one of two ways in my opinion - shuffle every play or better, every drive. Everyone can rank every position on a scale so that they'd get to play positions that they like in general, but not hog them either, and sometimes be forced to play positions that aren't their favorite.
This would prevent people ditching teams all the time because they don't get to try their favorite positions. Also, this is a GAME...so no one really Deserves to play quarterback all the time, or Way more that someone else.
I wouldn't mind in a game that was online, and all-human playing QB once or twice, WR once or twice, RB same thing and TE same thing, and something similar on Defence.

That is exactly my point,
We are all thinking of this online opportunity in terms of a game.
But, what if it could become more than a game,
What if you actually belonged to a Sponsored team with a payroll. This is the direction gaming is heading in. Making careers out of gaming, it has already begun with shooting games and madden and so forth. But has never been done on a TEAM SPORT LEVEL.
Picture This;
Say you (your name here) and your favorite position to play is (position here), now with 11v11 not only do you play your favorite position but you also must contribute on the other side of the ball as well regardless if you prefer or not. NOW say you belong to a 22+ team (COACH or whatever) and you have ONE responsibility just like being part of a real team (minus the LONG PRACTICES and YOU DONT HAVE TO LEAVE HOME). Once again my whole idea is based on a team consisting of Offense and Defense where you are in control of that one position. I GAURENTEE there are plenty of former football players and non former football players to fill up 100+ teams. Also Imagine having one of the biggest online SPORTS tourmants to ever be held ONLINE. COMPLETE once again with a team SPONSOR that can easily be influenced by 2k. So your name would be on the jersey of your player along with your desired number and looks however you would dress your player, bio etc. And you belong to A BLUE AND WHITE TEAM with the SEARS logo on the side of the helmet. NOT only that but you are one of the top players in the league art your position and are PAID to take your team to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME that not only GIVES the company at the least NATIONWIDE GAMING ADVERTISEMENT but also PUTS 2k SPORTS BACK WHERE IT LEFT OFF, WITH THE MOST INOVATIVE FEATURES EVER INTRODUCED INTO GAMING.
Imma gonna be the first to say it, I CANT STAND OFFENSE. I love to play defense, not only that I love to play Safety. Reason being, for me anyway, I played Safety in H.S. Now you can think I am a pathetic wanna be football player reliving his football days. HOWEVER for me its just playing a position I know how to play precisely, and when I do play 2k5 that is the only position I start the play off with because I know what responsibilites I have in certain situations even if the computer doesnt. Now I'm not here to brag about what I know, just inform those that dont see the WHOLE PICTURE that this could be a reality, not just for the future but it could be a reality TODAY.All it takes is 2k understanding the reality of this and making steps to implement this into the game.
IN MY OPINION this would be the best way to present the game without having the NFL license. IF you belonged to a team that wasnt necessarily a made up team in the sense that it had real football players (YOU) and even had real companies sponsoring the team for their own purposes. Just like those recreation teams at the YMCA, except you dont have to go out or drive to a game. If this happened 2 impotant issues would occur
1. FOOTBALL GAMES WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME
2. 2K would never again need the NFL logo.
3. Not to forget to mention if something like this did happen (which is possible) you could be making a living off playing football, just not as much or in the same way the pros do.

what is the incentive for the sponsors to pay people??
why would anyone watch as a spectator?

You make a great point, If this game could be sold as more than a game, MORE so as a VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATION I really feel this outreach of this game would exted way beyond what 2k could have ever imagined. Because you see 2k is the realest game out there, but it is what it is a game. That is how it is sold. Now if it continues it's game preface but also was advertised as more than just a game of friendly football. Then this game could be seen as an opportunity for others to not only play the realest game out there but to some realive their football days or someone who might want to play football in the future (middleschool student, etc.) and opportunity to become educated on the game. Already the circumference of the players ages has double from taht aspect alone. By that being so, the online gaming tournament that i am referring to could be advertised as a supply and demand. The team demands good players, WE supply the players. Now I stated before that in order to join the league you would have to have something like 2 online seasons uder your belt, Kind of like how the Olympics have trials to see who get to compete. Within those tow seasons are your complete stats, tackles, completions, touchdowns, broken tackles and so forth, EVEN including a counter or percentage displayed of how many times you didnt finish a game which also plays into the leagues decision making of signing you to their team. It could even be based on your ranking on 2k football page. I feel if you really know a position OL DL CB QB whatever and knowing that you could earn a living playing that position could really contribute into the feeling of commitment. Then when you finish your two seasons or whateer you submit your stats to the teams coach or whoever along with your desired position. So if your USER STATS say you threw 100 passes and you the USER caught 95 of them (NOT THE COMPUTER) then maybe you are a good fit for the team's wide reciever.

The incitive is what it has always been. The same reason GATORAIDE, MOTOROLA, ADIDAS are all advertising in games currently. Becasue not only is the internet revolutionizeng how we do things, purchases, doing away with CD's and so forth. But videogames has a similar effect.
1. IT IS THE FASTES GROWING INDUSTRY WORLD WIDE
2. MORE PEOPLE PLAY VIDOGAMES THAN PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY PLAY SPORTS. BOTH GROWN AND OLD.
3. MUSIC ADVERTISEMENT'S BIGGEST ASSET IS GETTING THEIR MUSIC ON GAMES LIKE MADDEN, NFL 2k5, MLB 2k7 ETC.
THE simple fact alone that one of the biggest industries currently (MUSIC/ ENTERTAINMETN) sees vidoegames for what they are. THE FUTURE.
NOT ONLY DO these companies gain country wide or wordwide advertisement but 2k can aslo hold a GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP worh something like 100,000 for the winnig company. Not only that think of what kind of recognition TARGET gets as far as publicity for having the winning team with best players 2 seasons in a row. If this were to become a reality not nly would would with this revolutionize the FOOTBALL industry but 2k WOULD OUT SEEL MADDEN. OR ATLEAST MATCH IT'S NUMBERS

The only way some thing like this could work is the game would have to be based off of a single penalty system, and then the Tournament can become international. ALSO imagine some one playing team Tim Horton's Coffe Shop, FROM MONTREAL CANADA, and then taking a vacation and ending u pin canada. Passing by Tim Hortons and recognizing the name, just knowing the name alone improves impulse spending by 50+%.

I agree with both of you guys on this to a certain extent. Heres my argument.
How will you position a camera for a receiver, for exa.? If im a reciever on the classic view, then you wont be able to see how to run the route. If you have 11 men on one team, you know how hard its going to be to organize 10 other guys, to block, and run at the same pace? It will be too hard.
If your going to compare this to another multiple player game, compare it to RS, or Ghost Recon. If people listne, you can really use some strategy. If people DO NOT listen, and act like kids, you might as well forget it.
If someone drops, they also need to look at letting people join, in game, like GR. Obviously, not if you are making it private.
Heres the bottom line. There is alot they could do with it, but id be happy just to be able to watch other peoples games If you have a league or something, and 2 guys are playing for the championship, how coool would it be to view the game from a broadcast POV?

And that is definatly a very important aspect, the view. Because it is very easy to reflect back at how horrible the MADDEN SUPERTAR view is, but we must also remember how on point the 2k FIRST PERSON VIEW WORKED to an extent. Now obviously it would need some tweeking primarily no matter where you are at when the ball is released the camera automatically directs itself to a position where both you and the ball are in view/ or it could go directly to a split screen where if you are a CB you decide if you are gonig to play the ball or the reciever. GIVES OPTION. IT is definatly not hard to get all others follow their responsibilites primarily because instead of a playbook being shown the scrren can show as it does when you are at the line and hold the R2 button or Right Trigger, however it would be for each position INCLUDING the OL or DL and that could happen while the play is being chose or even after the play is chose there could be a 5 second delay before you break the huddle that shows on your screen only what your responsibility is. Of course players are going to make mistakes that is a fact and even if its a situation where one player is always giving up the long ball or a QB is constantly throwing INT's. He can then be pulled from the game by a coach or whoever. You see if they take this game beyond the game aspect and aproach it with an attitude where they can revolutionize the Sports gaming industry then you can literally have a team that is made up of 22+ players including back ups. However all the players on the team are great players maybe some play individual tournaments on their own time. Just like how people do when playing in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, they are not completely dedicated to that tournament they have other stuff they do as well. But back to my earlier point it could be set up where even the backups get paid something like $200 week when they first start off and as they progress or become starters for the team you make more $.
I know right now that sounds far fetched but it is very possible, if you look at the top gamers when it comes to those LAN tournaments these boys and men are making near 200,000 a tournament so it is very possible for something like this to work.

Something like this could work, but i guess football would be harder than any other sport. If 2k wanted to try this, try it with Baseball, or basketball first. Baseball being the easiest, IMO. Then maybe making it to bball, to see how 5 on 5 works. Then if you can master that, and get that down, then try football. For them to do this now, wouldnt work. Of course thats my opinion

Actually that's false. I posted here back in the 2k5 days, however I forgot my user name. Regardless, postcount has little to do with pointing out somebody is being dopey and pathetic. A small child could tell that somebody who brags about putting people on ignore, and then putting it in his sig is dopey and pathetic.

Ok. A person is on your ignore list right? Right.
You can't see what they post right? Right.... well kinda.
So why post baiting messages if you really want to put an END to this mess , shown in red, about those on your ignore list for them to read????
