After I manually updated rosters (free agents, etc.), I find that I cannot use these new rosters in a season mode (haven't tried it yet for franchise or GM career). Why is this so ?? Am I doing something wrong?? Or do I have to update rosters everytime I start a season ? Am waiting for updated rosters from Chris Nelson or D. Krause after opening day, will then use my free 48 hour trial with 360 live.

about your free 48 hour pass. I did the same thing when the mlb 2k7 demo was only available to "gold" members. I still was not able to download the demo with the free pass. I just went and bought a 13 month subscription for $39.00. well worth the money

I don't think you can put updated rosters into a season that is already started. Once you have started your season you can only update the team or teams you control.
