I knew it was a problem before I got the game because I researched it and watched the trailers and read reviews. But, the trailers didn't make it look half as bad as it really is. I have a 7"1 C and every game he'll blow shots right from the blocks, misses, gets the rebound, misses again, gets the rebound, and misses again until the defense finally gets the rebound. I mean, guys wouldn't even play in high school if they sucked that bad.

I've noticed if you're playing a good team, you're not gonna win. You blow wide open looks all over the floor while they drain'em from everywhere. It's pretty frusterating when you're patient and wait for the good look just to blow an open layup.

the blown lay-ups is frustrating. I guess its supposed to represent how composed or rattled a team is (especially against a superior team). I can see missing a couple, but my guys will miss dozens often wide open shots like that. Just like you see in real life, I get so mad I just smack one of their players and get called for a foul. lol.

Wow maybe you guys are doing something wrong. Cuz I Play against the best people online and will mabye miss 2 layups all game, if that. I really dont see how you are missing them. I mean if i can make like every one, then it seems like other ppl and reviewers could make em too.

there may be different program logic for an online game compared to the legacy games where you play the AI. Plus, at least for me, I'm at a smaller school with less talented players. along with blowing lay-ups, I get killed on rebounds. I can have 3 guys under the basket and one of their guys scoops in and grabs the ball (sometimes even if he's sandwiched between 2 of my guys. Frustrating - but I get a lot more steals so it sort of evens out. And I can't complain too much about the lay-ups since most games I still shoot around 50% (rank at the top of my conference by a large margin). I have good success with the mid-range jumpers and uncontested shots.
