In the first game ever at the new Galen Center, I was going to play a preview of the USC Trojans against the South Carolina Game *****, two-time defending NIT Champions. Early in the game, Nick Young would take over, putting USC ahead 24-11. USC was shooting hot the entire game until the last few moments, when they would start missing and would have their thirteen point lead cut to five with under a minute to play. Nick Young brought the ball up, passed to Gabe Pruitt, who would drive into the lane and would be fouled. He made both foul shots to preserve the 69-62 victory over the Game *****.
