Help! WAY too many strikeouts

I have had the game for 3 days and have enjoyed it very much, except for when I am pitching. I seem to get between 14 - 20 Ks a game. That is ridiculous! I could see may 9 -12 but not as many as I have been getting. Anyone know what slider to bump up or down to make sure I don't have that many Ks per game? Any help is appreciated..

I have had a little bit of a tough time with this as well. The only thing you can do, and it does help, is to move the sliders for contact and hitting all the way up for the computer. You will still get some K's, but it will help......

Well you probably haven't messed with your sliders much. With my sliders, i'm lucky to get 5 or 6 with my good pitchers.

WHY DON'T YOU TRY PLAYING THE GAME ON ALL STAR OR HALL OF FAME. IF YOU PLAY ON ROOKIE OR PRO OF COURSE YOUR GOING TO STRIKE OUT A LOT OF PLAYERS.

If you're getting 14-20 per game on average, don't mess with the sliders. Just turn the difficulty up. I was up to averaging around 12 or so a game on the default difficulty, so I just bumped it up all together. Now I'm averaging maybe 6.
