Signing found prospects?

ok twice my scout has found me prospects and I click yes i'd like to try and sign him and it just goes to my schedule screen and I don't get the prospect. This is hurting me cause I want prospects in my farm system instead of all these old mlb veterans so I can bring them up. Anyone know why it's doing this.

Also, how do you get rid of the pitching cursor to make it harder pitching?

no but my scout is finding crappy players with potential of 67 im like i dont want them u idiot

Well what's your scouts rating at finding players? If it's not high in the position that he's finding you, he won't find you good prospects. But yeah, it's weird. I fired my scout for a better one and he hasn't found any yet.

Haven't had that problem yet.

well I got the 360 Elite and haven't had scout find prospects yet so don't know if i'll get the trouble of that anymore...hopefully not.

I clicked yes as well, and it went back to my schedule. Just remember their names. They go into the FA pool, and I was able to sign him once I found him there.
