There are way too many home runs in the game and if u hit one, you will probably hit 1 or 2 more every game, it becomes way to simple on any level of diifficulty. Is there any way one can change the power effect through the settings? Like reduce the size of the circular hitter's eye? What effect does the Inside Edge statistics have on the the hitters' eye? Thanks to anyone who can help...

Try turning your contact and power settings down. Even at contact 10 and power 10 I was getting 6 or seven homers a game, so I now play with them both at 0 and get 2 or 3 homers a game on average.

if you like playing franchise and GM Career you can do what I did and just turn the power ratings down to you're top hitters, just edit them.
I started a franchise with texas and turned down the power ratings for block, big t and young. That way to hit a home run you're going to have to hit the ball dead on!
I turned down POWER, HOME RUNS

If you are talking about your opponent's hitters eye a couple of strikeouts will do the trick.
