2K is without a doubt developing Amped 4 so here are some suggestions.

- the mountains in Amped 3 are awesome. i also like how they got rid of the colored lines on the jumps from the old games. the mountains are the best improvement by far. i hope they only get better in the next game. Also lets get a Whistler/Blackcomb level in the game!

- While the animations in Amped 3 were much better than the previous games, the controls weren't. Go back to the Amped 2 controls. They were perfect and made much more sense. I don't like how I can't do nose and tail slides on rails like in the old games. AND THE THING THAT DRIVES ME MENTAL IN AMPED 3 is how you can't truly control a turn in the air. if i try to turn 90 degrees he automatically does a 180. Please get rid of that in Amped 4 and allow me to crash if i don't land straight please. thats what happens in real life.

- Riders should be chosen as regular or goofy. I'm a goofy rider and it frustrates the hell out of me that everyone in Amped 3 is regular.

- Keep the storyline. although a lot of people didn't like the weirdness of the storyline i actually really liked it and it kept the game interesting. i thought the story was exactly what amped needed.

- Online multiplayer bordercross, slopestyle, and big air comps.

Well don't know if they are actually working on Amped 4 but if they do, I agree with the Amped 2 controls. Amped 3 controls sucked, the game was way to easy there was no satisfaction in pulling off a hard trick or riding a long rail because it was practically done for you. It was like playing Amped 2 with cheats, got bored of it way too quickly. That was the biggest disappointment for me going from Amped 2 to Amped 3.

I am one of those people who hated the story line in Amped 3. I thought it was pretty lame. I liked the more serious aspect of Amped 2. Thought they went way to overboard with the silliness. Have a serious mode in it.

For multiplayer, lots of of competitions, and a leisure day at the slops where you can just go go for a quick ride with other players

But most importantly as I said at the beginning, bring back the Amped 2 style controls and make it a skill game again.

I have to agree with you both I was extremely disappointed in the controls of amped 3. I felt like I was playing SSX or some lame game like that. The reason I enjoy the Amped series so much is the fact that it was the most realistic snowboarding game on the market. To get good at the game you really had to put some time into it. What I did like however was.

--- Great Soundtrack once again

--- Snowmobiles were fun to ride

--- Massive mountains

What I didn’t like

--- Ridiculous story line. I want to play a snowboarding game I could care less about the story. However if you did something a little bit more serious that would be good.

--- Way to easy to play, you land just about every trick, No control on the rails, the features were ridiculous. Some of the jibs were nuts not realistic at all.

--- You can snowboard back up the mountain a ways, that didn’t make since to me. In amped 1 & 2 you can’t do that.

I love amped 2 it is my favorite game I still to this day play it daily, I really enjoy it I think they should redo amped make it more like amped 1 & 2 get away from the ssx feel of the game and get back to the basics. You look at the snowboard industry now and all the pro riders are all about having sick video parts with a lot of freeriding and natural terrain riding. Going up to Valdez Alaska and getting steep mountain footage. Being able to make you own video part in a game like this would be awesome. Maybe being able to look at the map and place cameras around the map and you go and do tricks by the cameras of you favorite jumps and or rails. I have faith in the developers if they did it once before I think they can do it again. They should hire some pros and get there feedback they aren’t going to let the developers make a lame game like that. I used to be a snowboarder photographer and a lot of the pros I shot said they all enjoyed amped 1 & 2 but the ones that had played amped 3 hated it. You know you have a good product when the professionals of the sport you made enjoy it a lot.

I want to see Amped 4 be more like Amped 2...I think everyone has said that so far.

Controls of Amped 2 are way better. Eliminate the at over the top story line and get back to roots of snowboarding. It seems like Amped 3 tried to broaden the demographic while eliminating it's soul customers. You can still have a story line but not so over the top. Essentially the storyline made fun of snowboarders.

Bring back multiplayer on Live and see if you can implement some tournament competitions like xsn sports did. Amped 2 was easily the coolest game on that tournament system.

Man I miss Amped 2...

The mountais were great.

But everything else just sucks. You cant choose regular or goofy.
What happend with the realism? I can do like 4000 spins in Amped 3 and crazy grabs.

A thing i would like to see in the game would be a career: You have to climb your way up. First start witch just beeing a local then becoming a localstar then maybe rookie then just pro and at last superpro(legend). And that you have to do real compitions thats exicst in the real world like X games. And fix the board graphics if you were riding regular then the board was going switch. It was like you were a goofy rider.

The jumps sucked too. You cant fly 300-500 yards and the rails are kind of crazy.

I just want the realism in the game.

And maybe do a ski game or that you would choose skiing or snowboarding. Alot of skiers would like to se a jib game for skiers.

I liked having a story but would like a more serious one though not too serious. I did like how it wasn't about starting at the bottom and trying to work your way up to a gold medal or being famous cause I'm sick of that and really sick of starting at the bottom. It's been done to death. Running away from a serial killer or trying to save the world is too silly. It's hard to come up with something that hasn't been done 5000 times already but isn't horribly over the top and I doubt there's alot of inspiration for snowboard centered stories. Best idea I can think of would probably land a M rating or would at least be pushing T to it's limit.

Need to bring back the bikini tops for girls. That was funny. More clothes in general really.

Create-a-board.

Optional sking.

Night and day options for each mountian.

i think they should have whistler and mount snow as two of the mountains and i think that if there if u are in the backcountry area of a mountain and if u are going to fast there should be an avalanche. i think that would be cool

I would realy like to see a snowboarding game where you have to work your way up from the bottom, learn new skills, gain sponsers, and ride in competitions. Also i would like to see the ramps and rails alittle more realistic, they were to huge in amped3. I think it woud be so sweet if you can gain sponser ships as you go.

Audia4, look no further. I can tell you right now that Stoked is going to be that type of game and why I am really excited for it. You will work your way up the sponsor ladder and compete in contest ONLIINE against other players. I would hope Stoked does very well and Amped 4 will follow this model of sponsorships and competitions in a online community. I've listed a lot of info at GAME FAQS, so check it out

then get rid of all the bugs, upgrade the physics by a 100, and beef up challenges and mountains. Throwing in fun stuff like snowmobiling and other stuff is fun, but NO storyline, please! Basically the game should feel and look like this:

that's my wish. If it happens, I will be loyal to this game til the day I die.
