I'm using the original Xbox with MLB 2K7. 8-10 games into the season, or franchise the I'll play a game, try going back to the menu to continue and the whole thing locks up. The current game played and any changes from the previous save are lost. Huge pain in the butt, especially when you complete a no hitter and lose it all. Anyone else having this problem, is so any work arounds????:thumbsdow

Hi,
I just got this game and it is pretty much the same game like last year. They even repeated Derek Jeter in the cover. The graphics, stadiums, comments, everything is exactly the same as 2K6. You only added a few inconsequential tips or other insignificant stuff you could forego. It's pretty much a clone of last year's. I personally think it's a rip-off because the least they could do is include some new graphics, comments, stadiums or some other neat stuff. Boy, how I miss EA Sport's MVP Baseball...

I'm sorry, but this game just does not cut it. I'm very disapointed. I used to be a 2K Sports advocate since I work on a video game store but lately, I am NOT recommending either 2K7 NBA or MLB since I took a chance on buying the 2K7 based on all the great things that I'd heard about it's improvements. Unfortunately, it's the same boring game that it was in 06'....with garbage graphics, player movements, pitching, hitting...the whole shebang. I guess it's an okay game to keep you busy, but it's just not a good gaming experience. From now on I am recommending to our customers MLB The Show. 2K7 killed all my expectations of finding a baseball game that can come close to matching the MVP series. I know that MLB The Show isn't that great of a game but at least its more relistice than 2K7 MLB. After this, I'll run away from anything that has your brand name on it.

This game falls short on a truly fun gaming experience for a baseball video game. I like to put a little extra criticism to the game just due to the fact that 2K sports bought exclusive rights to it, and put in a poor effort in making a really quality baseball game. that's my beef more than anything else. I feel cheated as a fan of baseball video games to be reduced and limited on my options of playing a fun game. I hope you go bankrupt and sell the rights back to EA Sports.

It burns me that the rival team's fielders behave more like acrobatic gymnasts than ball players. I mean, it's OK that once a while an infielder dives to catch a ball or to see a gold glove catch, but almost all the time? IMPOSSIBLE!!
Here you finally get a good hack at the ball and it zooms to the field and suddenly, out of nowhere a fielder comes flying and makes and incredible diving catch. It is like every player on the field, no matter how bad he is in real life, has the qualities of a super gold glover. Even the pitchers! You get cheated every time you hit a screamer I know that somebody will do a power dive and catch the ball, or grab the ball and have a perfect throw on the run, unbalanced 100 percent of the time. I mean, I've seen David Ortiz make spectacular diving catches every time! This is so ridiculous! What were you guys thinking?! So remember, any team, no matter how bad the players are in real life, you'll be subject to road-runner outfielders and incredibly super-fast acrobat infielders capable of killing any rally you might put on. Also, what's the reason for the "historic" ball temas if all you're going to have in the rosters is a bunch of made-up players. I mean, if you don't have the licenses for them, don't include these teams on your games to begin with. Why should I play with the '61 Yankees using Joe Schmoe and Peter Whatzit instead of Mickey Mantle and Roger maris? It doesn't make sense to use any of these "teams" just to see one or two real players and 23 fictious ones even tough they might have the same abilities.
The programmers should've taken into consideration the fielding statistics of some really awful teams and make it a bit more realistic. I returned my 2k7 game since both myself and my son got so frustrated with the game that I returned back and got me The Show.
I know you don't care about my opinion or choices since I'm just one person, but let me tell you, many of my customers had the same opinion and many decided to switch games. Also, if you read comments on any gamers comment boards you'll find the same shared opinion which won't do much good for your sales in the future if you don't take us seriously and put out a decent game for a change and stop ripping off our pockets with more of the same garbage. Not to say that it freezes a lot, a problem last year's game had and they never worked it out.

I believe the new Busch stadium is in it. Other than that, what new stadiums are you expecting?
