I'm in my 3rd season at Jacksonville University. I signed a 3 star 7' center from France at the end of my first year, so I know I got an extra coach point. Then I signed a 4 star SG from Cameroon in my second year, so I imagine I got a point for that.

Does anybody know the equation for how many points you get per season?
What is the maximum number of points you can get in a season?

You can get up to 5 points a year
I think some of things that add to your coaching attribute points are

world recruit
10 wins
20 wins
conf title
tournament win

the amount of points you get is based off the Coaching Achievement Goals you accomplish.. like people said, it's maximum of 5 per year and it is possible to get no points.. this is good because the better you get at the game/more you progress, the less points is available for your coach so distribute it wisely (I highly suggest getting TEA to A+)

if you check out your coaching profile in the game if you RB button (on 360, or its the trigger buttom) it will show you all the u all the points you can achieve. Plus it has the checkmark box telling you when already got a point.
