As I look at the list, I can think of a few players missing. Here's my list of players I think they need to get on board - soon.
Terrell Davis
Larry Csonka
Marshall Faulk
Eric Dickerson
Hershell Walker
Chris Carter
Tim Brown
Jim Kelley
Jim McMahon (hey, he won a Super Bowl and wore cool glasses and a headband)
Jake Plummer
Steve Young
Shannon Sharpe
Mark Clayton
Dat Nguyen
Jamal Anderson
Howie Long
...and of course - Bo Jackson.
Not being ungrateful, but I just happen to think of a few more while I was looking at the list.

Scott Mitchell... man, I didn't even think of him... you're right - that guy was awesome!
You know, if criticizing is easier than creativity for some of you, I understand. However, I'm more interested in who other people would like to see in the game...

Hey The people they have in the game now aren't all legends! like Raghib Ismail, So why Don't we throw in his brother Qadry. They aren't all Necessarily legends, there people that have achieved something, like they put in some people that retired that aren't legends, but at least they were in the nfl, and its better than having made up people, there people to fill in the rest of the legends list. im still happy with having them.

^^^ Exactly. You definitely don't have to be a legend to be in the game. Example : Natrone Means. But I think that makes it better. I'm sure more legends will be offered as time goes by through X-Box Live and whatever PS3 has for online. They got as many people as they could. And I'm sure alot of people didn't agree to it. And it takes alot of time. I can't believe they got over 240 people....that's alot.

Has anyone mentioned Michael Irvin or Deion Sanders? I wanna play as Primetime and The Playmaker damnit!! These two will be the first two I create if they aren't already in it. Irvin, Aikman, E. Smith and Primetime. WOW

yeah there affiliated with the nfl so that might be preventing them from being on the game, cos they are commentators for the nfl network.

I think that part of the reason that they have guys that were not the greatest players maybe because some of them would just be interesting to play with. i know brian bosworth was a huge bust in the nfl but i would love to see him on my team just out of courisity. for example who in thier right mind play as andre ware in the traditional rating system with the 0-99 ratings he'd be like a 60. im hopeing that the way they make the players have different skill sets that they would be fun to try out difernt combo's. i would love to have n. means and c. okeye in the same back field? sure ***le sayers and barry sanders would probally be much more productive, but i would love to see the wierd combinations

I guarantee you that this game has some unlockable legends. It just makes sense.
There also might be a download pack of additional legeds. I hope that doesn't happen.

Sharpe, Faulk, Sanders, and Irvin are all still associated with NFL, so they will be out of the question I'm sure. I think Bo Jackson, Steve Young, Howie Long and Larry Csonka and should definately be there though.

Yeah, I forgot about Deion. Only cornerback in the history of the league to win Defensive Player of the Year (although Champ came close this year).
