I have become geared up for this game for a couple weeks now. If it were an NFL game coming out I would know that I am going to play a franchise with the Eagles. Simple as that.
But I hate Madden. I still pop in 2k5 once in a while because I still think its the best game out there. In fact, I just started a new 2K5 season via fantasy draft to prepare for this game coming out.
There is just so little information that I don't know what to be excited about. I keep hearing full customization and I hope that really is true. With no NFL I am beginning to get very excited about creating my own fictional league and playing through it. I really hope I am able to create a league of almost any size, playing almost any amount of games. I want to determine how many teams are in a division and how many make the playoffs.
Part of me wants to create a team for each city in the NFL now and take all legendary players and put them on the team they spent the most time with in their career, or had their best years with. Then fill the rest of the spots with fictional players.
Part of me wants to create a smaller league of 12, 16, or 24 teams, create all their uniforms and just stock them with all fictional players.
The problem is I don't know what of the above I will be able to do.
Anyone else have any ideas as to how they would like to play this game?
And please 2K, get me Randal Cunningham!
