ill give u that this game will have good graphics and gameplay. well,....... well see if the gameplay improves as much as they say it will. still 2k8 will have much more unique animations, presentation, and customization. one thing ea has yet to show us at all, they have not shown any sign of improving the awfull presentation of the game, which makes the game seem dull and dry if you ask me. radio announcers for commentating????? are u serious??? dont u guys have rights to espn now???? WTF!!!??? 2k8 will also have twice the customization in this game then madden has ever dreamed of. so if u only care about the nfl, im sure youll love madden. if u want a complete football package, (gameplay, presentation, customization, football atmosphere, realistic injuries, trash talking, ets.) 2k8 will be for you.

if there is one thing i know, we already know what to expect every year with madden. It is always basicly the same except minor improvements, a little better graphics, roster updates, and features we dont need.

lol, Madden people get excited because for the first year in 5 years they actually made some changes. However, most of them are changes that 2k had 3 years ago on an original x-box. All the changes they said they made are animation...not gameplay. The gameplay will still be like an arcade game and the players still look like gorillas. Madden sounds promising every year...but it never really is. It's kind of like the Spider-Man movies . . .

yea but NFL 2k2 pwn'd, i still play 2k2 to this day. I loved that game, it was the only 2k sports game without espn for the major consoles. I dont think many people got to play it.

Madden 2001 left me in awe because i had a ps2 from day one(as i have had a ps3 close to launch also), madden 2002 was supposed to be great in my eyes, but i played it and all it was, was a roster update and some minor things.

Madden 2001 for the ps2 was great, but then i played nfl 2k2 and it opened my eyes to true football. If you look from every 2k football game since 2002, they all had major improvements.
I mean i get out madden 2001 and i can still see some of that basic stuff in madden even in the next gen.

Dude Madden 05 was the best Madden ever. Yea it had flaws but so did the great 2k5

And if I'm not mistaken the first 2k football game I remember all you had to do was throw a hailmary and you could catch it 1 out of 3 times

I'm just curious how any one can say that AllPro will suck when there has been no info released about the gameplay yet. Madden is gettin some updates this year, which is good, but AllPro will give football gamers an enjoyable alternative to Maddens gameplay. Anyone who has played 2K football games know they have a different feel to them compared to Madden games. Obviously 90% of the people on these boards are going to get AllPro just based on the fact that they liked 2K5's gameplay and they know AllPro will play similar(and probably better) then it.

Personally I like the feel of 2K football games over Madden, and no matter what kind of updates Madden gets i know it will feel the same way(unless they redo the whole game engine). 2K doesnt even need to release gameplay info and I'll still buy the game because i know it will be atleast as good as 2k5, and I'm ok with that. Since I have played 2K5 I could never really get back into Madden games, so I dont see myself getting Madden this year unless, I really have an urge to play as NFL teams and/or I hear that Madden is really good(from reliable sources)

Asides from madden and ncaa what other good football games are out there? arena football? blitz the league? street? Leaving 2k5 out of the subject, madden has the been the best football game since 2k's football death.
