We never really talk about gameplay tips so I made this thread to share different strategies.
Against the man-to-man I like to run the burn clock play. It's spreads the floor out and gives me a chance to take advantage of any mismatches. I mostly use it to burn SF,SG and PG that can't defend or lacks the speed to keep up with my players.

Ok on Offense, I would use the Reverse the Floor play! GREAT PLAY! and on Denfense I would do a 2-3, Man on Man, or Just a JUMP STEAL!!! haha Hated that so much but Couldnt help myself from doing it. haha MARCH MADNESS 2004 OOO YAH!!

When I first got the game I would press full court and jump steal all day. To make the game more challenging I stop pressing and played more man-to-man and zones.

this year...with isomotion on man to man i'll probally spread the floor and get it to my PG or SG and let him drive/shoot or drive/layup...defense i usually play wit Kentucky so i like the man to man at the begging of the game really tight (because they have one of the best defenses in the nation) and if its a really quick team i might slip back into a 2-3 zone

I like using a tall point guard like 6-6 and up with good speed and a good shot. Usually he's impossible to stop and score against. I also like centers who can shoot the three.
I like full court zones, even though those are basically cheating in 2k3 :P

I like tall PG's too. When I got a tall PG on my roster their is NO WAY a team can pass around the perimeter.
