I'm not going to go into any great detial as some of you have unless something out of the ordinary happens, a short recap of the games is all you'll be seeing here.
First off, I'm using the Flyers with the current rosters which I try to keep up to date. I have created two players: Jeff Carter and Mike Richards....two hot prospects coming throught the Flyers system. You may remember them from the Canadian World Junior team. Carter is rated 78 while Richards is 77.
My lines this season started as:
Leclair - Roenick - Amonte
Gagne - Zhamnov - Recchi
Brashear - Primeau - Kapanen
Richards - Handzus - Carter
Dejardins - Pitkanen
Johnsson - Ragnarson
Malakhov - Markov
Esche
Burke
Season setting:
Level - Hall of Famer
Speed - 2
All sliders are pretty much default(minor tweaks were done)...I did tweak the fatigue so all four of my lines would have a chance to play.

Goalies Duel as Flyers win opener vs Buffalo!
Wachovia Center - Marty Biron stopped 34 of 35 shots while his counter part Robert Esche stoped all 20 shots he faced to help the Flyers edge Buffalo 1-0 in the season opener.
Midway throught the second period John Leclair battled in the corner for a puck before throwing a pass out front to Roenick. Ronick fired a bad angle shot off the far side post which eventually found the back of the net. That was all the scoring the Flyers would need as the defense clamped down and limited Buffalo to mainly outside shots.
Esche was hardly tested but made a few key saves tro earn the first star. Roenick was second star for his game winner while Biron took the third.
Danny Markov left the game in the third period with a groin pull, he is expected to miss 1-2 weks. Sami Kapanen will take his spot on defense, while Patrick Sharp will dress up front for the next game.
The FLyers next host their Pensylvania rivals as Mario Lamieux's Penguins roll into town next.

Young guns shine as Flyers power past Pittsburgh!
Wachovia Center - Before most people in attendance could find their seats, Pittsburgh had an early first period 2-0 lead on goals by Bradley and Eastwood. The Flyers rebounded in the second period with Amonte scoring his first of two on the night as he was sprung for a break away compliments of a beautiful pass by Ragnarsson. Recchi then evened the score late in the second as he split the Defense and slipped a beautiful backhand past a sprawling Fleury.
The 'young guns' line of Carter, Richards, and Sharp pressed hard all night and were finally rewarded early in the third. With both teams changing lines, Zhamnov intercepted a clearing attempt and fired a pass up ice to rookie Jeff Carter. Carter used a sweet deke move to get past Rosival and gain access to the slot where he then used Tarnstom as a screen and fired a snap shot top shelf blocker side past Fleury to score not only his first career goal, but the eventual game winner. Amonte later scored on another breakaway to make it 4-2, with Simon Gagne adding an empty netter making the final 5-2.
For his two goal effort Amonte received the first star, GWG scorer Jeff Carter took the second while Zhamnov who had two assist was awarded the third star. Robert Esche made 27 saves in the win. Notable mention to Sami Kapanen who played a solid game on defense and managed an assist on Recchi's tying goal.
The Flyers travel to San Jose on Thursday to take on the Sharks.
