Sure, but here's the difference: APF is made by VC, who made NFL 2K5. So I know the game will be exceptional.

Madden on the other hand is made by Tiburon, who hasn't produced a realistic football game in years. Madden is 'broken promises' and 'cheesy, arcade gameplay'. That's why I won't be rushing out to buy it.

Hey, terrific communication skills... for a twelve year old.

Guess you missed the point of my last post. Those of us who are past 25 years old have played these games for a decade of more. Madden is the same game it was 6 years ago. Those of us who are older, know that Madden 08 will not be worth purchasing. We're not children who need to run out and get every next new game, just because it's new.

When I play video football, I play NFL 2K5. The guys at OS update the rosters. The gameplay is unmatched, and no Madden game has ever come close to 2K5, gameplay-wise. And I do that because I'm older... and wiser apparently than you.

I wouldn't go that far because I do enjoy one or two of their games. But when I have played Madden, it's reminded me of a morgue or a funeral or something. Something 'spooky dead' about that football franchise, IMO.
