If you were to make a video promoting APF 2K8 without any game footage, how would you do it?

You know I usually don't comment on these kind of vids because usually they stink and my response is "man if this guy knew how silly his stuff really looked", but in this case that was pretty impressive. Only thing that killed the whole vid was the mangled APF2K8 logo at the end. You had me all the way till that part. Fix that up and possibly find some more appropriate fonts for your text and I could see that being a pretty good viral vid for the game that 2K wouldn't go wrong with using.

So much to take from this post.

Nice video... despite not having any updated information this guy went and made this whole ordeal interesting by just bringing back the memories we all have of the series and mixing in some of the real pro football video with it.

Very entertaining and a much more productive way to spend time while waiting.



Question. Would 2ksports need an NFL license to use that old school video of real NFL players for their promotion?

Ill start off by sayin, GREAT VID.. couldnt be any better. I mean that. Glad to see a 2k fan who would go that far as to create a commercial for this game. And that is definatly ready to be shown on national TV.

I see you took my suggestions about the fonts and logo. ;) It looks much cleaner now. Just capitalize "football" in the beginning where I think it says "Football 2K5" and you should be good.

The only thing with making so many changes is that my You Tube account is going to be flooded with the same video.

This was a rushed effort with many flaws, I was hoping that someone else would come up with their version.

Awesome video. I bet some madden fan who has never seen 2K will see that and think it's 2K8, when in reality that game was made in 04 and still looks better than what EA has crapped out the last 2 years.

Cool video. I like the slowing down and speeding up of spins and the like. Very nice.

The next-gen of gaming won’t be defined by massive environments and enormously dense, lush worlds, but by the emotional experience each player has when spending time with a title.

Sounds like the future of video games is porn. Sorry, just the way the end is worded.
