i think its funny that the forum mods come in here and start telling us to stop creating stupid threads and to stop posting in wrong threads when 2k gives us nothing to talk about. what else do they expect???? the GI article was a joke. i didnt even show us 50% of what the graphics will be like, and also gave little info on how this game will work and what the presentation will be like. the names of legends was cool. for about a week it gave us something to talk about. i understand they need to keep it under wraps from EA, but its now going into june, a month and a half from realease. i could care less if we dont get anymore info cause i will buy the game regardless, but c'mon. they're gonna all of a sudden come ridin in on their high horses telling us what to not do on these forums, when everyone has been starved for info??? F that!!!!!!

sometimes its a lost cost if you really think about it. its a waste of time coming on here forcing something to a company that does not pay attention they are going to continue to go the way they have been so the threads are in a way.. a waste because they are not going to change anything...its always that way and besides stop getting worked up over this stuff is just a game. at the end the solution is simple either wait cause they're at least 50 or 49 days left either buy it or not but if you think that they are gonna change the direction of their gravy train because of a couple threads your going to be disappointed. thats just in general

dont be fustrated 2k isnt at all they are just continuing on and you got to be the same way take life one day at a time and when info comes? it comes thats what i do all the time. they wont let me run up a wall i suggest the same for you amigo

sad thing is that 2K DOES pay attention. I recall when they had a dev interview on NBA 2K6 asking the users what do they think needs to be improved. They took one of my ideas and implemented it (maybe it was already in the works but it was never in any prior NBA 2K series game) so I do know they listen.

My only guess is they are trying to build anticipation but... if they continue to make us wait and then when they do release info... that info better be "OH MY GOD!!!" type stuff because if it's a very weak attempt.... they are going to get BLASTED and rightfully so. It could also backfire causing lost sales. But...... i still have faith in 2K... their products are always top notch. So....... i'm just waiting for 7.10 when minnie e3 hits. If they don't release info on that day.... AVF 2K8 will truly be AV.

For those that need help... AVF stands for All Vaporware Football.... those in the know... understand the phrase Vaporware.

Dude, I know I've butted heads with you over a bunch of threads, but this is dead on. Making people wait like this means they HAVE to put out something amazing or it almost certainly will turn people off, and not just more casual gamers who would catch a sub-par video on IGN, but also more dedicated people who are on this forum regularly.

all i know, is that ive never gone on a forum before, untill i heard about this game. before the only way i ever heard about a good game was word of mouth from friends. i believe this is the way 70% of gamers hear about a good fun game to play. i believe 2k is depending on this, and are confident that what they are putting out will grab the attention of gamers by playing it hands on. not buy reviewing it on the web. if this game lives up to the hype, it will spread like wild fire through word of mouth. i believe 2k is keeping most of the game info a secret, cause they know for sure people will love it when they play it.
