...at letting everyone down. Those photo comparisons don't matter (even though I think the lighting and detail is better on 2k). IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GAMEPLAY AND EVERYONE WHO PLAYS FOOTBALL VIDEO GAMES KNOWS THAT THE 2K SERIES DOES IT RIGHT. We all have played both and anyone who has KNOWS. The only reason why anyone plays Madden is because they haven't seen the light. NIGHT AND DAY, baby NIGHT AND DAY!

the thing that threw the used toliet paper in my face was last year, when they sold their "hall of fame" edition and they knew that the uniforms were not done right, they knew that they put a bad product on the market that was not even done and they knew it. it was glitchy and dont even get me started on david ortiz. then they made excuses for the problems that occured. after $70 was spent on it, later on they came out talking about how they "rushed" the game and did not finish. with that oh well thats the breaks type of attitude that EA has all the time. i mean its one thing when people do not respect your product and speculate. but its a whole other ball game when you come out your self and confirm that you do not care. i did not like that at all it insulted customers and also was a great big smack in the face. i lost all respect for that company ever since......

Well said. But it's sad, as others have already stated, that people will still buy their game.

hey thats why i say be a smart consumer and customer. its the same with going back to a person who cheats and lies. then next year they say " im not gonna do it again I promise" them boom! do it again. after a while of being kicked in your butt sooner or later you have to wake up and say "ouch this hurts" i really really am sick and tired of this. everyone is entitled to what they buy i will never stop that because everyone deserves a choice. but to see what EA does as in the products they sell and the fact that they know is bad, its just sick man.

LOL, I love the Analogies. But the biggest problem is for us people who love Football, and need that fix, playing crap is better then nothing. and EA knew that when they secured the license. I had not purchased a madden game since as long as I could remember - remeber Gameday - it owned Madden and then 2K went and killed it. So there was no way I buying that crappy game, but with NO other options, just blitz (which I did buy and certainly did enjoy) - what options does a football junke have - thank you 2K for giving me a reason to buy a good footballer this year.

if you can prove beyond the shadow of a doubt, that 2k is any different than ea then go for it...but i just dont see it, they are both video game companies which do just enough to get your 60 bucks out of you and then leave you hanging...go ahead...read the mlb 2k7 forum where comsumers ask the mods if there will be a patch for the franchise logic and other glitches that make the game unplayable...see how many moderator responses there are, see how much 2k REALLY cares about their customers...

I'm sorry 2K I love you but I have to agree with Jimmy42Jack0 about the mlb 2k7 situation. I mean the game is great...but for me I don't want to play a fraschise and you wont fix even the wind situation...I believe your company does go out of the way to give us the best product for our money...but the key to customer service is after you get our money how do you treat us. I know what EA does...they treat us like crap before and after the sale...The product you give us before the sale has always been steller....work on the after the sale part. I believe that 2k8 Football will be a product that will MAKE Madden and the NFL revamp the way they think.

GAMEPLAY FELLAS...it's all in the gameplay. When you get burned in 2k you feel like you could have stopped it...when you get burned in Madden you feel what a stupid video glitch.

do we need to post up AGAIN who is winning when competing with EA on next gen consoles?

you seriously need to go to a forum that you actually support rather then wasting your time coming here and posting up nonsense after nonsense. We obviously know you don't work for EA so that's not your reason why you come in here. why is it that you do? Are you just looking to bash on 2K for your mental enjoyment too fulfill your life and meaning on this here planet? Really..... why are you on this board? Do you have a PS3 and jump on the XBox boards too bash the 360 or is it the other way around?

no...i like nba 2k7 (although i dont own it), i liked nhl 2k7 (even though no matter how much i adjusted the sliders i couldnt get a realistic game), nfl 2k5 was alright (but madden is still king...mlb 2k7 is an abortion...for the 2k fanbois on here...it horrible...a horrible game...looks pretty but is a horrible game...its gameplay is awful...my goal isnt to just come on here and bash...its to bash the people that think 2k is holier than EA, that somehow 2k is going to heaven and EA is going to hell...they are both huge companies that dont give a rat's *** what their customers think...im sick of the crying that EA is such a bad company that makes bad games...face facts people...EA sells better than any other gaming company period...they are huge and it was a sound business choice on their part when they bought the license, and 2k did the same thing for the same reasons...its no different than red sox fans who complain about the yankees payroll when they spend 150 million themselves...2k and EA are the same company with different names and until you realize that, all you guys are doing is crying for the sake of crying...suck on a tit already and stfu

EA is great at letting people down.. but do you know what that means?

EVERY YEAR they hype their game up and get people thinking it's going to be amazing and "this is the year." that leads to big sales, ever year. 2K needs to do something like that.. if Madden gets huge sales with what they put out, imagine what 2k could do with the same marketing. But, instead, 2k's big breakout information comes out at 1 AM on spike TV...
