Was surfing the web and came across this site with an image I did'nt see on here or IGN.com. Check it out...it's the second row, middle image. Has some cool looking demon in the endzone. I cant wait for this game!!!

UPDATE: I am glad this link is getting alot of support but please digg the story after you check out the images and support the site. I just got done emailing the guy that runs the site and he said he is happy that tons of people are checking out the images but wished more people were digging the story, I told him that 2K fans rule and that I would post something on here asking you guys to digg it after you check it out. The crowds do look great! No more of the 10 different people spread though the whole stadium. It actually looks like not everyone is related!

Man this is going to be a true 2k experience, look at the crowd, field and surroundings. Look at maddens screen shots and all the people are wearing the same thing. Just like last years game..lol. The novelty of the Beast is pretty cool. It will just add to the emotion of the game. It's a hell of a lot better than hearing the canned radio announcer on a certain other game that should remain nameless. This game is going to be a blast!!! I'm happier than a puppy with two peckers!!!:dance:

Just a thought....That could be a section of the stadium designed to do just that. It's not real, so you can pretty much do anything you want on a video game. They could design the logo on the 50 yard line to come to life after every score if they wanted to. It is animation. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun. Anthing goes. No NFL license = no restrictions. Take a deep breath and think out of the traditional football box we have all grown accustomed to. It is a breath of fresh air. :cool:

The GI article about APF said that after touchdowns, a rhino busts through a wall at its stadium, so I don't see why you think this couldn't be the same way.

It would be very possible (and expensive) to create a large animation that does something just like, then goes back in, only to do it all again after another touchdown. Realistic for a football stadium? Not unless someone like Universal Studios owned the stadium. Possible? Most definitely. And like others said, it's a fantasy league - meant to be fun.

Not really fantasy at all. If the Met's can have an apple pop out of a hat whenever they hit a homerun and the Tampa Bay can have cannons going off after a TD and ... well you get the picture. More stadiums/parks would do it if A) Their owners weren't so cheap B) People started making noise that they want something like it. It's totally feasible for everything I"ve seen so far in the game. Disney "Imagineers" or whatever it is they call themselves do this kind of thing with ease.

Now if the beast actually walks out to the 50 yard line and starts pounding the ground and such then yeah I'd have a problem with it.

what the **** is that?!..that doesn't even look like its part of the stadium, it just looks like a demon came out of no where to attack the players. To me this stadium looks a little too far fetched and I have been trying to support the animated stadiums.

Looking at it from a videogame stand point and not a real life simulation stand point, it is pretty cool. I actually might use that team just because I think that would be a sick home field. I want to see that stadium from a different view because from there it looks like that is a real beast/demon and not something that is part of the stadium.

What would be funnier would be if they made the animation startling and scary in nature, like a very sudden, out-of-nowhere sort of thing that scares the crap out of you, and then every time you score the timer for how long it takes for the beast to come out varies, so you never know when you are going to spill your applejuice :rolleyes:

I now see how creative 2k can be because they don't have the restrictions that the NFL brings. The game will be much more exciting because of that. I can't wait until the trailer comes out tonight. Euphoria would be great...Anything would be better than the canned animations we've been suffering through for so long. Nothing worse than a DB turning slowly around in motion capture and swatting waist high at a pass that is going over his head.
RE: stadiums...Lets just hope those over-the-top (and lets be honest they are) stadiums and animations aren't at the expense of other features, like the grass textures and gameplay animations. Don't think they will be, but what I've seen so far the field surfaces and in-game player models are weirdly flat.

I mean, I liked Mutant League, but.... Giant bumblebees and scorpion tails, its like a universal studios soundstage.
