Sorry I ended up getting to listen to this channel right as they started talking about Madden.... whatever they may have said about 2K I really think is all bs. Think about those of us who have truly played Madden and truly played 2k. Anyone who is all on Madden always defends it and talks so bad about 2k. I have met 100s of people who were way into Madden that have been permanantly converted to 2k. I haven't known anyone to say they were die hard 2K Football fans but fell in love with Madden. My 2 cents.

That's a real good point. I used to love Madden until about a month ago, and now I prefer 2K. I bought it for $3.00 at gamestop to play on my PS3 and it outperforms Madden 07, in almost every category. These guys were not used to the gameplay mechanics for sure, and how much can you really tell about a game in playing it for just one half anyway? I was a bit dissapointed when they mentioned the graphics, but it is good to hear that it plays like 2K5. If it ain't broke don't fix it.:thumbsup:

of course its bs man. I know because 1up said the same exact crap and then jump right into EA's butt with madden. brown nosers thats all what they are. they play like they are not biased but in reality they truly are. notice madden can do nothing wrong, meanwhile apf is the redheaded stepchild of all football video games ever made. its so obvious they dont even hide it anymore, its sad really....

I don't think it is a rehash if the gameplay is decent. Change is good when it improves upon what is bad, but change CAN be bad if it is done just for the sake of changing.

Because 2k puts out solid games. There bugs in them? yes, but if you play them the way its meant to be played its a fun sim game. You can play madden the way football is intended, and you cannot play a sim game. Hell, you cant even do a damn play action pass in that game.

Madden could be the same game, if they make it a good sim game. Then build off the sim game. Dont build off a damn arcade style. Thats why even Madden fans are getting fed up with it. THey dont improve the game much from year to year.

not that i am here to tell people what to buy. thats up to you im a great fan of the customer because i am in this for myself. not for EA nor 2k it just so happens that 2k shows effort and that is worthy enough of my attention. i just ask for a fair review of the three football games coming out. dont be a fanboy like the 1up podcast and you call your self the reviewer im a customer, not some loyal drone, forget that crap show me what is good about all of them. and these game websites call themselves doing that, but they dont. so it leaves the choice up to you the customer. buyer beware and be a smart consumer....keep an open mind and be unbiased because all this loyalty junk? is just imagination....
