PUSH BACK POSSIBILITY?

apf is getting assaulted from every angle , i dont know if its justified or not but i have to ask all you guys : do you think that 2k is gonna push this game back? they have obviously did a lot of foot work signing all these legends and all but the verbal assaults that they are taking is VICIOUS , and they ARE hearing and feeling it. this is make or break for them and i can guarantee that the thought of a push back HAS crossed their minds. dont forget that IM not saying they should because i havent seen an official gameplay trailer but they are gettin SO MUCH CRITICISM for everything that it just makes you wonder. now the game WILL come out because they have already invested too much but do you think they will push this back to try and improve on what they have ? dont forget its been confirmed that 2k is taking a wait and see approach with everything and they still HAVE NOT confirmed a release date for some reason. that reason IS that they are listening to feedback . . . . . and its not good . . . at all.

i hear you man , im rolling with 2k until the wheels fall off but . . . there is so much negativity for this game that you just have to wonder what 2k is thinking. under the circumstances there is so much to lose . when i saw the screenshots i got really excited because they looked AWESOME but when i saw the trailer i was like well . . . i dunno , and when they gave us NOTHING today i was COMPLETELY SHOCKED. they promoted 2 showings but gave us 2 of the same thing. unexcusable. all i want is for the game to look just like those awesome screenshots and have the same 2k5 gameplay that IS better than maddens to this day and more animations .

dont push it to close to madden because of the price of both games 2k probally will not sell good they need to release it as soon as possible they cant compete with madden at this point.

Even if they push the game back, what more can they do? Add a franchise? Add more legends? No .. pushing the game back won't do anything. For me, I want them them to make the release date CLOSER .. I want to play this game so ****** bad!

Push it back and add a Franchise mode, give us next-gen graphics, and add natural motion/Euphoria...

I really don't see the need for them to "rush" the game out this summer, if they don't want to compete with Madden they could always release it next-spring...

There's a possibility that this will be the -only- footballl game they release this generation. So it should be better than just "good", they should take as much time as they need to make it "GREAT".

at the same time none of us should forget that the game is only 80 percent complete from what the radio guys said. i would ASSUME that all the heavy work like gameplay and things of that nature are complete , normally the last tweaks of a game revolve totally on graphic work , tweaks and touchups. 20 percent isnt small potatoes by any means guys , you can do a ton with that , its almost a quarter of the game !!!

Just like the game don't judge by a Still shot... partial at that.

Wait until you see the entire package before you jump to conclusions.

Lights, make up, and stuff do a lot for people.
Oh.. and lets not forget about digital makeovers where certain imperfections are removed.

Negative publicity is not a reason to push back the game. As someone said what will that do? You get the release of Madden and NCAA now that people will have purchased because of no choice at what $ 60 bucks and you expect them to comeback and pay $60 for Legends???? I don't think so unless Donald Trump has been quite busy making kids we never knew about.


Release the game in July and see how it flies.
If it is a success, no matter how large, I hope they upgrade 2k9 to make generic play an option where they can have a franchise mode and make everyone happy except the recreate NFL players. :lol:


I tell you one thing. I can say I do see why Madden is so popular.
Their people aren't as hard on their game with every issue as some 2ksports fans.
