2k Sports people:
If you people read these forums, this is the thankyou thread.
I'm sure some of you are pulling out your hair at us fans, or maybe you've already passed that stage and are simply feeling defensive and angry.
Point is, making this game is not necessarily the smartest buisness move. Anyone with a brain knows that Madden will likely corner the market for a while longer. The fact that you decided to make this game says two things:
1.) You love the sport of football.
2.) You are willing to take a risk for both your sake and ours.
So, 2k sports, you get my thanks. Hopefully some of the A.ssclowns who have turned on you will share my sympathy.
I know this game won't be perfect, but I'm buying it anyway. The fact that you decided to make it is deserving enough.
A.ssclows: Yes, it all boils down to money. But does it really? How much risk is involved in this type of thing, given the license situation? Probably more than you'd be willing to risk. Yes, I will b*tch about certain things, things that I feel are very important in a football game, but still, it isn't going to suck, so get over it. Lighten up on these guys. Even if the game isn't perfect, you need to suport it. If they can survive this year (football-wise), the future might be bright.
