I read all these posts from 2k fans and 2k haters and I sit scratching my head. What were you expecting? Were you all reading the same media releases I was reading?

If you look at the video they released, I thought it looked awesome. I didn't see any robotic movements like I did in Madden. I didn't notice anything actually that I considered a flaw except the guy's hand disappearing into his leg during a cut scene. Oooohh... wwoooowww!!! I would say that if the worse thing I have to worry about is a cutscene flaw, I'm excited.

I'm no animator, programmer, or graphic designer but, my understanding of NaturalMotion was that you could blend your motion captures into the action, and then blend them out flawlessly. You can make your animations interactive with other animations around them. Looking at the video, it seemed to me like that's exactly what was happening. Can anyone else tell where the Motion caption starts and ends? I couldn't. I also didn't notice where any of the players didn't respond to the other players and actions around them.

2K Sports didn't set any major expectations for us. I have noticed that many of the expectations have come from people in the forums. How can you hold 2K responsible for hopes and dreams that YOU have set for yourselves?

You all should be happy that 2K listened to you and created a football game that is probably going to be light years ahead of Madden and your beloved 2K5. I say wait and see, this is going to be a different experience for us all in a positive way.

I've played all the Madden games and bought both NCAA 07 and Madden 07 last year. I wasn't impressed and I have a feeling that EA is going to take the same approach they have taken over the last 7 years. Make a similar game and add some cool features with updated rosters to sell copies of Monopoly.

I'll put my money on All Pro this year and have ten times more fun in an online league instead of playing the long ball cheesers online on Madden for no reason other than .... well I can't think of a reason...

i'm very happy that 2K bombarded us with all this info... some dudes are expecting info on a hourly basis. The release of the vid didn't help much because 2K made it sound like it was a new trailer when it is the same low res trailer on Spike.

I'm sure we will get more and more info as each week passes.

Absolutely true. All I was expecting was a nice polished new version of 2k5! They just got back in the ring, so lets give em a break.

What happens is we are all so sick of the options we have regarding football games, and we loved 2k5 so much that when this game was announced it was like

"HOLY ****!!! This game is gonna be the ultimate."

And it will be guys, it just isn't going to earth shattering in every way possible. What it will be though is one hell of a solid football game, that I can guarantee. It will have rock solid game play and polished graphics. It will have everything we all loved about 2k5 and more. For that I am ecstatic, but lets just understand that it's their first time home in a while, so lets let em get settled in ok. Then after they have been home for a while we can start complaining about their room being clean.

goodbye and good playing everyone!

Imagine what it will be like when they can bid for an NFL license and we all know how to play the game already? I will stay put on 2K because it will pay off in the future and I will be one of the ones saying. "I've been true to the game, even when all we could play with were the Hall of Famers. That's why I'm dusting everyone, I've been playing for (X amount) of years.
