i just finished up my current year i am in. I wrote down all the off-season stuff finally and i get to the new season. Only too see to my suprise that i have no idea how to run this team anymore. I though some players would leave early (and without getting to in-depth with it i will say that since they didn't win any awards they all stayed) so now i am stuck between freshmen and sophomore's for the starting spot.

play midnight madness, swich teams in the middle. Decide what players are the best at each position

Are you saying that you're worried because you have TOO MANY good players?

Lets say I never seen a lineup like this in any of the past 10 years in coaching. Add the fact in that I never seen you, Knox, Vol, or anyone else on here have a lineup like this (or I don't think i have, and this is from sheer size, speed and chemisty rating too...not just overall ratings). its like having two teams right now. My bench would be starters for "power" teams it looks like. Add in the effect that I have two freshman this year and despite their ratings (on any other year they would be starters for my team) that it looks as if I will have to redshirt them the first year. I am not trying to put down any other teams I just thought this was impossible in this game to get a roster like this.
Brings me too a point who would win between my team and the created team?

like i said i really don't want to give out to much detail until i actually catch up in posting (which i could if i really wanted too) but to say that i lost the best overall person on my team (he won every award last year from Player of the Year to Big Man of the Year) is like a footnote already. The center i have now is a Junior (Zack Clemmons) who looks like he could be Player of the Year and Big Man too. Also it looks as if i will mostly sim this season since my team is too good against the weaker teams. I think my rating is an 94 overall.

Haha I've had that problem before (sorta). When I simmed ahead to see job offers and such, I joined a Syracuse team and that team was just wow! They were like 95 overall with I think 8 or some guys over 80 overall. I'm like jesus what am I supposed to do with all these amazing players, because you're not used to having great players so yo uwant all of them to do well, but that's impossible to do. It's weird that it's kinda harder to coach a perfect team than a not-so-perfect team.

It happens. If you play and its too easy just simulate some games as well. Maybe tank the team to make it harder? Like just draft jokes of players for a year or two. =]

All I can say is redshirt a couple of guys. It's hard to do because you want them out on the court in the mix.
Having a couple of good fresh players come in every season adds replay value. Nobody wants to play with the same exact team for two years straight. If you you have the same exact team, you tend to not play as often.

see i never had that problem. All the players i bring in either leave after their sophmore year or their JR year. So,i had to keep the talent comming in.My teams have been rating over 94 before, but the highest person on the bench was a 81.Not like yours is like a 85 and the rest of them or like 81 or 82.I feel your pain.Enjoy the back to back NC.

i've already played a couple of games...the only reason why i haven't posted them yet (and i promise i won't post the whole season in a week lol) is because i was working on getting the conference starters and all of that good stuff.
I am going to try to keep the underclassmen on my team for another year, but so far i have made everyone play excatly 13 minutes a game so far. Hopefully that will make them stay, but we will find out at the end of the year. Like i said i known people have had great teams, but after added 4 points to my one thing it shot everyone up like 3-6 points after the year was over. I was just suprised they all came back this year especially after winning the NC.

I have always had good coaching stats. One thing you need to worry about is that when a player reaches about 86 to 90 and his potential is at about A.that player may leave after the current year. So,you maybe losing alot of players next year.so,with my past luck with my team even after, you give out the one or two scholarships you have keep recruiting some sr's because you may need them.Or you will have a team with alot of walk- ons.it doesn't matter if you players are starters or come off the bench ten minutes a game or 5 minutes a game.At season end alot of them maybe NBA bound.I told you guys before when you have great talent comming year in and year out they don't stay long.Welcome to my nightmare. If you don't win while they are there you may never win.You see how many i lost before going to portland.
