This board is getting worse than that other football board!!!!!!!!!!

This might get locked but oh well. Has anybody played APF 2k8? Has any 1 played that other football game yet? Thats a NO on both. Both games could be good or both could suck. I havent paid full price on a football game since NFL 2k5 and I dont intend to do it now. Both games in MY OPINION are not worth $60. Some of you guys talking like you are on 2k's payroll? I thought that other football board was bad!!! All the bashing and name calling is ridiculous. Everyone has their own preference on what game to buy. So whos to say you are wrong or right on what game you purchase. Its your money, do what you want to do with it because I am. By the way, both of these titles are EBAY purchases for me. This is MY OPINION only.

There are a few trash-talking trolls on this forum who get kicked off but keep coming back using other usernames. Just like other forums. Other than that, what do you expect? This is a 2K forum.

Game companies have history. EA has a history of putting out the same garbage game, year after year. 2K has a history of putting out innovative, higher quality games.

In other words, there's good reason people think Madden will be trash again and APF will be the superior game. That's called 'reasoning' and 'learning from experience'.

Yes, very true. But you are complaining about everyone who is complaining. These people aren't complaining because the gameplay sucks, they are complaining about the things they know to be true.

Basically what I am trying to say is that people are complaining about the reasons you don't think the game is worth $60, yet you are telling people not to complain because they haven't played the game yet.

Hey, I'm not 'loyal'. IMO, 2K has put out some bad games the past couple of years - games that have been plagued with freeze issues, etc. That's why APF is a rental at this point for me. But I still know it's going to blow Madden out of the water as far as gameplay goes. Heck, NFL 2K5 blows Madden next-gen out of the water.

Okay, and the point is...? So Madden isn't garbage to you, is that what you're attempting to communicate? Yeah, that's called an opinion, just like I have an opinion and everybody else here has their opinion.

Seems to me if you're bothered by people calling Madden garbage, my question is: Why, exactly? What's it to you? And given you raise this same 'Madden isn't garbage' issue over and over on this board, my next question is: Why not go over to Maddenmania? I went to the Madden forums before I came here, it soon became annoying. If you said anything against Madden you got flamed.

BUT even they would point out things that were wrong w/ the game. I didn't see many people who liked the next gen versions.

On the other hand, I never saw any post entitled "2K has a new football idea" "2K7 isn't going to outsell Live"

These boards are getting terrible.
