Someone start a website...www.boycott-madden.com or www.anti-madden...The whole goal of this is to get the NFL's attention...4 things could happen if it becomes popular:
1. Force Madden to improve the game for fear of a backlash
2. NFL will not want to associate themselves exclusively with EA
3. Bring more scrutiny to the exclusice nflpa deal...
4. Keep 2k's football department from getting disolved completely...According to Chau, they only kept 4 people from the football team after the EA-NFL deal

It wont work. You see all these Madden Sheep have allready been suckered into buying it. The EA hype machine works easily on the weak minded. It has the NFL logo on it and thats the real seller right there.

Too much money at stake. Doing this stuff won't change anything, unfortunately.

Now if we can get people to stop buying Madden (espically if it's a half assed game *cough*), then that would be a different story.

You people really need to go over to EA.com and see the customers reactions to madden...they don't praise 06 and 07...and half of them are threatning to stop buying madden...theres this guy over there who switched his name from EAOwns2K to 2kOwnzEA lol...there not excited at all about their recent history

The gamers who know a thing or two about videogames are those that suffer...The ignorant casual gamers dont even know or care about presentation...They only buy madden to see Steve Smith dance after a TD...Those are the ones EA tries to fool with the commercials and there are many of them...3-4 million strong...All the hardcore gamers who actually sign up to a forum to talk about the game are in the minority and thus dont carry enough weight...It is a very insidious phenomenon that tends to occur to both humans and big Companies...For the love of $$$
