It's in the ESPN NFL 2K5 online system... All of the rosters for the league are stored on Sega's servers, so you can make trades and all that and the rosters will be saved to their servers so everyone in the league sees it.

What does a turbo controller do?

Hey anyone interested in a league with teams formed with a fantasy draft?

Is that possible with Living Rosters? I know the VC admins. have veto powers over unrealistic trades. But does ESPN let you do fantasy drafts? The commish could do it on his machine and then put up the customized rosters on the server...

Also, does anyone know if the division alignment is figured out? Can you have real divisions or will it be like last year where teams are put in the order they joined the league?

Oh, one more thing, I don't know about turbo-pads, but those Macro-Pads (memory programmable buttons) are used by cheaters in 2k4. Used by people who block punts, FG's and shoulder charge thru multiple would be tacklers.

Well the game is over 2 months away, if the August 25th release date holds.

So you're going to get more closer to release but also have some defections. I would try to recruit more than 32 and get a waiting list going. There will be attrition after the season starts.

Might put together a waiting list and periodically email updates about what's happening with the league, so that people know this league is still going to happen and to keep people's interest.

A league forum and site would help. I don't know if they let specific leagues have their own forums on this site but that would go a long way.

Otherwise, we might have a situation like last year where few NFL 2K4 leagues finished (and most were not 32-team leagues) and people just stopped playing.

I would be leery about publishing email addresses on this site. Lot of spammers harvest emails from web sites.

Maybe use the private messaging feature and then compile a list for the whole league and do it by email.

We had people speaking up for at least 24 teams in this thread.

But looks like most have not went over to the site or the league message boards to confirm.

It could be that a lot of guys who "signed up" in this thread haven't checked to read about the league site and league forums.

With rumors that the game may come out at the end of July, we could be about a month away.

Maybe the commissioner could try to see which people have confirmed and then try to contact the rest in this thread by email or by using the Private Messaging feature on this forum. Or try any IM addresses?

Looks like players for PS2 leagues are slim pickings (most leagues advertised here are for Xbox). So we probably want to retain as many people who signed up in this thread as possible.

Because when the game comes out, it'll probably let you sign up to any league from the ESPN/VC official leagues website, like last year. But the problem was, a limited number of players signed up for different leagues so most of the leagues had less than 20 teams.

So retaining people is a good idea.
