I love how EA uses ESPN, and Chris Berman hasn't even been featured in Madden ONCE!!!!

Instead we get Marshall Faulk pre-game this year, and the h o m o broadcast guy again, and I am certain the horrible sound effects are in again!

THANKS EA SPORTS!!!

No capn' Crunch.

I would love to see NFL live and some REAL presentation and excitement thrown into that horribly stale product!

If your gonna jack the ESPN license, at least utilize it!

Are you simply forgetting APF strip down presentation?

Yeah, but dan and peter are still in full effect. They may have stripped it, but the player antics as well as other animated things, will keep this game on the playing field for a looong time.

More than the one booth annoucer guy? i mean even Nfl Qb club had three announcers. you got to admit that was a lame duck by EA this year. they need at least a color and a commentary, one guy cant be color and comm at the same time...just cant happen.

QB_TARGET#24
June 25th, 2007, 05:25 PM
Agreed, that is just Lazy that EA hasn't got REAL commentary.

June 25th, 2007, 05:26 PM
but the part that constantly gets under my skin with them is just the little stuff you know? its the little stuff and if they knock that out then hey, who knows? ive been saying that since madden 2002 and even further back.

Presentation espescially on next gen is a key to longevity of a game. I would love to hear Berman say

"We are here @ the sold out Ralph Wilson Stadium, the snow is falling, and it's gonna be a battle here today as the Bills take on the visiting Dolphins, in this epic battle that goes back decades".

In Madden we will sadly never see that, a halftime, a superbowl celebration, anything remotely close to a real life NFL experience, when we indeed DO have the tools in todays technology to do something similar.

Why is it that these threads NEVER stay on topic. I'm not worried about these icons...they will get old and annoying to look at a stupid truck icon or a ******ing light bulb over someone's head. A member said in in earlier posts...you should know who you star players are and how they are better...I don't need no stinking icons.

from what i have noticed on here since the very beginning is alot of irony, which means that this company has done if not less but mediocre work on getting it out there, all the work has been done by fans of the game and posters. um somethings wrong there, ive said it before on here and ill say it again, My job is to be the customer, not Greg Thomas, or 2k or Take Two, their job is to make me want this game. thats how it goes, so with that being said, 2k knows what they are doing with this. So not even going to give marketing ideas to a company that makes in a year what i will never see until i sleep and dream. If they don't know how to market their stuff then thats their problem. At the end of the day customers have to know when to know their boundaries and companies need to learn when theirs begin.

lol 2k dont need to counter anything. 2k needs to learn how to speak up and sell their products. instead of greg thomas telling people to shut up and play a game. nice saying two alomst three months ago and now it has people around here asking where it is. they need to learn how to speak up and sell their products. instead of him just saying"um well this is a game and you pick up the controller and play with a team, and you create your team and theres the game" thats not marketing, i dont care how secret you are, you have to sell your product. i mean dont get me mistaken im gonna buy this game, in fact i already did and if you see my avatar and my signature, so thats proven but lets keep it real.

why do they have to have ESPN for presentation. They have made up the teams this year, why cant they make up their own Broadcast, call it whatever...wouldnt be hard for them to use their knowledge of the ESPN license and just make the presentation company up. Call it APFN - All Pro Football Network. That way they can do whatever they like and wouldnt be tied to ESPN.
