What if APF08 gets the BIGS treatment???

2k only dropped one trailer and no gameplay videos for The Bigs...From the way things are shaping up, we might never get to see a gameplay video or a demo before July 16th...I havent seen any Commercials for NCAA 08 yet but I can assure you, if 2k dosent at least equal NCAA 08 in commercial spots, then am afraid the battle will be all but lost before it begins...

My loyalty to 2k ends after July 16th if they dont at least put up a fight...No need pulling for a company that just dosent seem to care about surviving...They better be protecting something amazing cos if the game is indeed a few notches above 2k5 am going to not be very happy...I will prolly blame myself for allowing the hype to overwhelm me but to be fair, 2k never really promised anything amazing...


I am undoubtedly, still getting the game but rest assured, am never allowing myself to be pulled into this HYPED UP travesty again...All this waiting is not healthy...What bothers me is the total disregard of the true fans...

Two different trailers and three gameplay videos. All posted over a month before release, and this is just on gamespot... I think IGN has other stuff.

I wish APF was getting "The Bigs" treatment...

I definitely don't like how 2K is approaching this whole thing. Now don't get me wrong the Bigs looks very promising but we all know trailers are embellished to show all the pretty aspects of a game while concealing the not so attractive ones. 2K should and definitely could have released some gameplay videos for both of these guys by now. Why they haven't is beyond me.

Players expect to see the game in its true form rather then highlight clips and I don't know why 2K things they are special where they don't have to do this. Maybe they are hiding something.

greg thomas and 2k along with some of these secret posters along with the Os mods as well here make me ponder sometimes as well.but in my thought of thoughts, i clearly believe that 2k knows something that we don't know....ive been saying that since the very beginning.

i think we will get a demo for APF2k8 just like they did with MLB2k8. I played it there first then realized i liked what the game had to offer.

I wonder if they have "the Bigs" Demo, giong to look later on when i get time.

IMO some of you people take this EA vs. 2k thing a bit too far.

What does number of commercial spots have to do with producing a good game?

I think people misunderstood this thread...Its not that I am impatient or that I dont trust 2k to deliver, its just me coming to the realization that 2k might not release any gameplay videos...This forum has close to 60-80 people signed in at all times so obviously we are all hoping for something to drop any moment...If 2k does release July 16th and there is no evidence to explain why they didnt drop any info, gameplay or demo, my loyalty shall never be the same again...I dont care how busy they are, dropping by to update the community for a few minutes is the least they could do...

Secondly, if 2k dosent market this game and it sells badly, we the consumers lose...Because APF08 could be their last game for a long time...That concerns me...I can wait until 16th - no a big deal...But am not holding my breath next year...heck no!
