I'd say Lombardi. Lombardi 2K8.

At first I though Ditka but I'm pretty sure he already had a football game which sucked.

Vince Lombardi was a smart dude...perfect for 2K.

John Madden just spouts stupid obvious stuff...perfect for EA.

Coach to endorse: Marv Levy

Reason why: So close to winning the big one so many times, but always fall short!

How about:

Matt Millen 2k8!!

OK... so he's not a coach... but funny nonetheless.

Very creative..I like that but I think 2ksports wants to be known as one that can win the big game...But I really like your creativity...

I would pick I believe it was a baketball coach for the Houston Rockets that said something about being The Heart of a Champion...I also like Jimmy V who said something like Never Give up, Never give up my memory a little vague in this area. But if I had to pick a football coach it would be have to be Vince limbardi because of his slogan....Winners never Quit and Quitters never Win...

lombardi '66,
main reason: first and only coach to win three straight NFL championships
-revolutionized the running game and strategy that we know today.
-one of many coaches to have had a dynasty.

Good suggestion. I also like The Bear.

Though Levy 2K8 sounds cool...his losing ways would be more joke fodder for everyone.

It's got to be Shula 2K8
-Winningest coach in NFL History
-Only pro coach to go undefeated

You can't get much better than that. The question is why did EA choose Madden? I do remember I owned Jimmy Johnson Football on the playstation.....and just like Jimmy...it blew!

Jimmy Johnson. Just think how many SUPER BOWLS did this guy win, enough said.

Enigmatic52

if they were it would be named after a coach with charsima, not so much a coach that accomplished Hall of Fame type numbers.

So with that in mind I think of:

1. Herm Edwards
2. Jeff Fisher
3. Bill Cowher
4. Jerry Glainville
5. Jon Gruden

My choices would be either

1. Jimmy Johnson
2. Bill walsh

Madden only won 1 superbowl back in the early 70s and till this day trying to figure out why hes still respected when other coaches have won more.
