i agree...add the cut off sleeve shirts and the regular t-shirts. (can be any color)
better dunks for high flyers...better layups.
Oh yea fix the charging calls...You couldn't draw a charge for nothing w/out you being called for a blocking foul no matter how much the sliders were up all the way.
Similar to the baseball game...add some kind of Inside Edge for College teams...like Duke or Florida so you can set up a defensive and offensive attack at their weak points.
Make Tennessee's cheerleading squad the right color Orange and put THE SUMMIT on the court like it is in real life LOL (I go to the school and it's a shame not to see The Summit on the court since Pat earned it and she is a dominate coach)
Maybe add a street court or Rec Center mode where you can try to walk on a collegiate basketball team. Possible add some female characters. <----just a suggestion lol.
Add Flagrant and Technical fouls (NBA needs to do this too)
Home team player intros
Put more commentary in the game...it sounds nice and natural but they repeat a lil too much.
That's all for now I believe

1.) Cut down on the dunks
2.) Make the plays run smoother on offense. This is by far the worst part of the game because the players move so methodically it is impossible to run one.
3.) Be able to call anti press plays. If you are going to have a press in there give the people a way to break it.
4.) When you say your going to give away a game for pontiac bracket winners actually give them away.

Clean up the PS2 graphics. They didn't look too bad, but they were the same guys from 2k6.
Fix the music glitch
Presentation on the PS2 was just outright sloppy
The missing shots did not bother me as much, but they do need to improve passing down in the block
There were too many 7'0 230lb+ SF. These guys are C's on every level of basketball except this game.

- Please give us the option to watch the CPU's games in Legacy mode, especially in the NCAA Tournament.
- Try to get a CBS Sports license
- More Realistic polls, and there are too many mid-major teams upsetting major teams these kind of things have to be fixed.
- I love the Weekly college hoops tonight show but it has to be more realistic, for one the player of the week thing is ridiculous. It seems like every time I watch the show a player has had 68+ points in whatever game they were in that past week. Come on now, make it more accurate. It should be at least close to their averages. Another thing is the upcoming games of the week segment, don't show highlights of the two teams that will be going against each other unless they have already played each other during the season, and show actual highlights from their games. But 2k did do a great job with the selection Sunday show.
- Switch up with the brackets and the game locations every year, I don't wanna play at San Antonio every year.
- Let us be able to practice weekly in Legacy Mode, have us choose whatever drill we want to practice whether it's a drill like Fastbreak, or even a play from the play book.
- Add in-game saves, I get mad as hell when I'm in the NCAA tournament and I'm dominating then at the end of the 2nd half my 360 freezes up.
- Add an on the fly menu, like in NBA 2k7.
- Make the NCAA tournament seem more realistic for example, while you're playing have other teams play at the same time and show their box scores on your screen (have an option to turn this on or off) and to make the presentation even more better while the game you're playing is at halftime show a live look of the other games that the CPU are currently playing. (let us pick which games we want to watch)
- Expand the Recruiting even more.
- Add more Sig shots, Free throw routines, and accessories.

my comment would be if you are gonna have a pontiac tourney that supposes to be like the actual ncaa tourney, then the games have to be at the sites where the games are, not in the particular teams home court. Its an advantage enough that the team is at home but in the tourney? Need more of a neutral site, & also need spectator mode so we can cut down on theese cheesers like norcal that just hopspin with just one player

They should create a new game mode called play your role. U get to choose between being a coach assistant manager or either a player. If u were a player then you get like 5 or 6 games left in your highschool b-ball season. And recruits be at your games looking to see if U are what they need on there squad. You got to go through try-outs to be on tha team. That would be tha coolest game. And then if you make the squad you got to earn yo way up to a starting position. And when you are playin tha game mode then you'll only be on play lock. Reply back if you think this would be a good mode.

-They need to fix/update the jerseys. I am tired of seeing the jerseys with the incorrect number and letter style. I get heated by this because I go to Syracuse and I hate that the jerseys are butchered.
-They need to also update all of the courts. I hate seeing the old courts from past seasons still being used for some teams.

I think that mode would be great zacorey.
Can't think of anything more realistic.
I would like more games on the highschool level.
If not highschool, definately the AAU circuit or Elite camps.

They also need to fix online ratings. Too many idiots make rating calls because they are losing or lost.
Some bozo's leave negative feedback because they dont know how to hit a freethrow. It is part of the game folks, GET OVER IT!

Ok, i'm going to post a few responses concentrating on certain areas, first of all, Recruiting.
In my opinion recruiting is one of the most important areas in a college basketball game (apart from gameplay) and i'd like to say that I think 2k sports did a great job with their recruiting, its much better than March Madness.
Firstly, I'd like to see added a "facilities" option (IE how good your gym is, your weights room etc), where your team has a grade (IE A+ to F-) for the quality of their facilities. A recruit could then have the desire to play at a school that has great facilities. If your facilities are poor then he isn't going to want to sign for you. This facilities rating is then something that you could try to develop in your legacy. Eg, you could talk to the Athletic Director and ask him to spend some money improving you facilities, this could however have a negative effect on your recruiting budget for that year as you focus your money on improving facilities to attract players in the future. I think this option could allow you to develop a smaller school into a potential power house.
Secondly, Academics. Some college athletes put an emphasis on how good their studies would be at a school. If your school has poor academics and the player wants good academics then he won't sign for you, or maybe he doesn't care about academics so that wouldn't affect his decision. Maybe your school has great academics and this could be the deciding factor in getting a player. Also, maybe the player you are after doesn't have a high enough Grade Point Average to attend your school, in this case a great athlete who poor at his studies would have to go play for a lesser known school that accepts a lower GPA.
Thirdly, A good feature EA had in March Madness was the ability to 'pitch' to a recruit. For example, you have scouted a player and found that he wants to play close to home and considers his academics important. When you phone him you should be able to focus your phone call on your schools academic quality, or if he wants playing tiem you should be able to phone and say "we guarantee you a starting position". If you don't give them what you promise though they should become unhappy.
Fourthly, Localised recruit camps for the lower rated players. The 3 camps option is a great feature I think, and its great when your a power team to test out the players you could recruit to see if they can knock down a three or are a beast in the post. The problem is when you are a small school looking at 3* players you can't do it. They could have a localised camp (Eg If I am the Morgan State Bears in Baltimore Maryland, they should have a camp in Maryland for 3* prospects, one for 2* and 1 for 1* prospects. Only players who are based in that region should play there. That way you could unearth a role player, EG find a two star recruit who can hit the 3, he may suck at everything else but he could play a role on your team.)
thats just a few ideas for now, let me know what you think.

Definitely need to fix the layup problem. I have gotten pretty good at layups, but there are still times when my 6'9" center will miss shot after shot after shot, and he's all but dunking the ball. Last night I was playing Denver, and whooping up on them. Then outta no where they got on fire and I couldn't make a shot to save my life. I understand the momentum switch, but even with the change in momentum a 6'9" player wouldn't miss an uncontested layup.

I had this in another forum, but how about the ability to create your legacy coach online and have a legacy mode. Everyone can start at a basic level with a number of the weaker teams. Based on online stats, you can then move up along these lines
1. Bad smaller schools
2. Smaller schools
3. Mid-majors schools
4. Power schools
5. Elite schools (this level would be the historical powerhouses such as Duke, NC, UCLA, etc)
Also, as an online option, you can have a league with your online coach and own online league. But you can actually recruit based on the same rules you have within the game. Based on your leagues rankings or so many points they can challenge other leagues for an online tournament. Based on your leagues results, they gain so many points which allow them to gain better coaching stats to allow them to get better players.
As far as the recruiting goes, within every league you can have Mr. Basketball, all-americans, but if they are 85 or more their freshmen year, the chances that they move on to the nba next year vastly increases (as to create online balance). This way you can keep recruiting key and it doesn't give power or elite schools distinct advantages. B/c it's online everyone will be vying for these players anyway, but if they have the coaching stats and other variables (abilities to recruit) make it so that ANYONE is eligible for those players.

AD Mode... I'd still love to see it even tho it's been suggested for years
I like what EA is doing with recruiting for NCAA Football 08 and how you can call and have a conversation almost with your pitches
Improved create a team with customization on All-Pro's level
even more improved presentation. More commentary lines. New stat overlays and instant replays and such.
That NBA 2k7 had with the little menu that comes up when you press the direction buttons so you don't have to pause the game for substitution
and hopefully with the graphic updates NHL 2k8 is getting, we will get some too..

I agree. They should be able to alter shots more but not block them. I also think that the gaps between good teams and bad teams differs too much in some categories. The speed rating kills me. If you lined up Florida against a EIU everybody on florida would be faster. That is not true. Fatigue is another thing that is rated real poorly. One more thing, how about mid season Rating and player updates. Alot of players that werent good years prior become real good. I am a Mississippi State fan and couldnt play online with them very much because 2 of the starting five were freshman but were end of the bench players on the game. Players also get in trouble or leave the team after christmas and are still on the game. What is all that about?

Sadly you can't compare March Madness to this game but the one thing that I do like about EA's attempt is that when you pass to another player on a fast break the the receiver doesn't stop and wait for the ball which kills the break. It would be nice to see this implemented in the College Hoops game. I also like the freestyle controls of March Madness better than the using the buttons in College Hoops.. but that's just personal preference.
One thing that is kind of is kind of sad in this game are the player heads/faces.. everyone looks pretty much the same except for their hair, skin tone, and height. Other than that I like the way the game play although as mentioned by some other people here it's pretty ridiculous to see a Forward or Center blow a lay-up or two footer.

Please get rid of the fullcourt inbound passes. Online I shouldn't be forced to press because someone wants to use a exploit.
Fixing the press is another thing. Someone blowing their defensive assignment on press to trap the ballhandler as soon as the ball is inbounded or reaching on the inbounder (which is delay of game) as soon as he passes so the ball can deflect off of him is so lame.

It would be cool if they had a type of Campus Legend thing like on NCAA College series. Like you could create your player have him go to a basketball camp, and have him compete in drills and in games and see what offers he gets. They could have him attend practices and keep up with a GPA. In Gameplay they could have it so that you only control your player like in the MLB 07 The Show. Make it more realistic. And at the end of your career transfer him to the NBA game. Just a suggestion, I know it wont happen but, hey i can still dream.
Also i like how people have been saying having a college basketball weekly show. That would be freakin' wicked. Highlight the past weeks best games and players and announce the new top 25 poll.
With recruiting, stop making 7 foot SF. More realistic. I was tired of using a 6 ft 7 PG. Come on now, there aren't that many Lebron James out there. But i did like how you could recruit the high school freshman and stuff like that. I like to see them get the crowd more involved in the game. It wasnt that great on the last game.
Just a few suggestions that would be cool

2)How about mouth pieces(i have seen players use them in college ball)

4)How about a little blood, eh?

Need to change the computers three point shooting, there are about three starters on every team and two off the bench that are the greatest three point shooters of all time. This needs to be changed to a more realistic percentage. Also to many missed lay ups. Alley oops shoud be slow down a little so you can see them better.

I would like to see the presentation get even more realistic:
1. Include CBS, but also CSTV for regional or smaller games.
2. Include CBS's theme music. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ytFGX_6-cl8
3. I'd also like to see team reactions during the selection show like they do on CBS.
4. Have the live scorebord of other games during the tournament.
5. More fan interaction- like when the crowd erupts after a game winning shot (and storms the court if it was a HUGE win), but if the home team is getting destroyed have the fans start leaving with 5-10 minutes left in the game. Maybe even add the peanut or cotton candy guy walking up and down the aisles.
BTW, UNLV's student section is called "Rebel Nation", if that could be added it would be great.

First and foremost, and it's been said, being able to participate in weekly or bi-weekly 'focus' practices would be nice. As a player (and a QA Tester myself) I want to be able to see my players candidly.
Definitely more crowd animation variation. I think I even read in an official review that every stadium has fans jumping up and down like Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The undershirts thing was a great suggestion.
Can we get some BLACK cheerleaders? Seriously. Doesn't have to be 50/50 (or 33/33/33) but it's just a color swatch swap.
Greg Gumble and Clark Kellogg need more animation. They look like (again, as the reviewers touched on) animatronic dolls.
More 'coach in the hot-seat' announcements. Every one of my seasons sees plenty coaches getting fired.
Does attendance currently have anything to do with the economy of how much you get to spend in recruiting points? It should. Maybe even go all out with the franchise aspect of it...the NBA series does a decent job of this I think. All the people in the stands wearing your team's color have to get their shirts from SOMEWHERE, right?
Special cutscenes for championships and tournament wins/upsets. Cutting the net???
Signs in the crowd. There are plenty college students in the crowd, and they have vivid imaginations! I also like the vendors idea somebody else mentioned.
I said it already, but WEEKLY PRACTICES!!! Can't stress it enough!
That's really all I have. I love 2K7, thank you for your hard work!

I think that there should be more accesorie for the players...such as shoes for any color.....and maybe even ankile braces and different coolor headbands because not every player wants a white headband...you could also add like about 10-20 in-season high school games and state tournaments so that players could be recognized better and get more recruits...you could also add on like at the end of the ncaa tournamnet, you could add the mcdonalds all american game, roundball classic game, and the jordan brand all american classic game....and then after that you could have a circuit of AAU torunaments since in that time period at the end of the year nothing is going on but recruiting...some tournamnets you could add in could be The Main Event in Las Vegas, Kingwood Classic in texas, King James Shooting Stars CLassic in Akron, Pittsburgh Jamfest in Pennsylvania, and any other little tournamnets that you want to add...i also think that you should allow us to create about 30 high school players on our own so we could make things more exciting and interesting...one last thing i think you could add is to have player introductions for home games and when the ncaa tournament starts you could introduce the home and ay=way teams and then allow them to get in a huddle and do cheers and chants and other stuff...please consider adding these ideas to College 2k8 because i believe there good ones and that they could attract more buyers for your company...thank you

Things that you should fix
#1: First and foremost you have to fix the AI of team mates. Offense and defense seems at times to become clueless. My base offense is the motion offense, why is it that none of my players are in motion? I shouldn’t have to call a play for them to move around, the whole point of the offense is to stay in motion. But I’ve seen my computer opponents back door cut my team plenty of times. Defensive wise why is it that the computer can pick my passes off while my team watches them go by? I've seen passes go through 3 defenders who just stood and watched the ball go by them.
#2: Second, charging call is none existent. Basically all the comp has to do is start its lay-up animation, if you just happen to be in the way you will be bowled over and charged with a blocking foul. I’ve gone as far as to run away from a player doing a lay-up only to have him climb my back. Most will say just press the "take a charge button" but it takes so long to set up that you would be better off just moving. Taking charges is a weapon that any great college defense needs to take advantage of. so give us the ability to do so.
#3: Free-throw shot 25 is glitched. For some reason it will randomly glitch out of the shooting animation and into you staring at the crowd. Not game breaking but it’s an eyesore especially for such a nice looking shot. (And depending on the timing of the glitch, it will cause your shot to be incredibly short. hitting the ground about 6 feet in front of you.)
#4: Fix the Create-a-chant. No it’s not glitched or anything. But why is it that I cannot assign a chant to be a free-throw only chant? Foul only chant? Dunk only chant? Block only chant? Rival only chant? Create-a-chant is a genius idea, but give us more options to play with.
Now to what needs to be added, if you read this 2k and I hope you do. Please take these suggestions into consideration.
#1 we need more Specific dunks. What I mean by that is that we need more dunks that are moment and player specific. Like, there should be dunks that are big man specific, (Why is my 610, 280 pound Power Forward doing a reverse dunk better suited for Lebron James? He should be throwing it down as hard as possible when ever he gets a chance. ) there should be dunks that are speed specific,(You cannot do certain dunks going full speed, and you cant do other dunks jogging) there should be dunks that are area specific, (you should not be able to do certain dunks in a crowded lane) and some dunks should be height specific. (please animate a dunk for short people, alot of these dunks look odd when someone 5'10 is doing them.)
There should be more post move dunks.
I recount facing up in the post, driving to one direction only to perfectly spin around my defender ending up right in front of the rim. You know how I finished this awesome post move? With a jump shot from 2 feet away from the basket, and it bounced out no less.
There should be more contact specific dunks. If the bold and underline wasn’t a big enough hint, this could be a really big addition to this game. And its something that NBA 2k7 did pretty well. You should have a nice amount of dunks in this game that can only be done when someone’s contesting it. These contested dunks can end in a big block or in a facial or even in just a missed dunk. But I don’t see why you can’t have it in there. Now not every contested dunk should be animation specific, because in real life you rarely get a dunk like that. Usually someone is just in the lane, but you rarely get a dunk that’s full blown contact with a defender. I think it would make the game that much more exciting.
also, re-animate your alley-oop dunks PLEASE!! its about that time 2k, put more realistic alleyoops in the game. more varied alley-oops. maybe one that is animated so that the guy jumps off of one leg. there should be at least 4 variations of a regular two handed alley-oop when jumping off of two feet.
also, take out the access hanging from some of the dunks. it looks silly, if you could manually choose to hang on the rim it would be cool.(nba2k7 has this feature) but in real college basketball, that would be called a technical foul.
#2: We need more of the college atmosphere within the games.
I feel that this is something that every college game should have over any major league game. We need to have the home court be a factor, because it is in real life. Where are the Cameron crazies? Where are my insane Tar Heel fans? These places are intimidating to play in if you’re the opposing team, so let’s make it a factor with in the game. If you have a team with a few freshman players they should be quite rattled playing against duke at home. And if I’m playing as Duke, I want my home court to be feared by opposing teams. Take lessons from NCAA football 2007, unity and home court advantage should go hand & hand. give me the ability to pump the crowd up after a dunk. i want to run down the court, slap the floor, and get ready for defense while the crowd rattles the bleachers, jumps up and down, and makes as much noise as possible. With out good unity your team should have a difficult time playing in these stadiums. With it you would be able to stand against the crowd. I can’t be the only one excited by the thought.

Cameron crazies can be quite
Intimidating to a freshman
#3 teams need to talk!
I play college ball, and the most important thing for a team on defense is communication. A quite team loses. Now I’m not saying we need hours of dialog. But I call a screen, I should hear the other team call it out, failure to do so should end with a floored defender. Maybe hearing your PG call out a play. I’m not saying we need continuous speech through out the whole game. But every once in awhile I should hear someone talking.
#4 EMOTION!!
C’mon 2k Sports, this is college! Where’s the emotion? I win in double overtime off of a last second shot against my rival, and I don’t get any kind of reaction from my players!? People stay on the bench, no hugs, no hand shaking!? Why!? There has to be a reason. Purdue pulls an upset over UNC and not only is there no one charging onto the floor, but no one even really celebrates, other than the mediocre clapping. My coach isn’t arguing with refs, no ones slapping the floor on defense, no ones helping there team mate off the ground after an “and 1”. (A no-no punishable by a day of suicides) The most shocking is that the one thing that got me pumped in the beginning about this game; the stomp stomp clap portion of the quick game menu, followed by the pep talk by the coach. Is disturbingly absent from the legacy mode. It would be pretty cool to get ready to play a home game and listen to the pre-game prep talk detailing the key points to winning, while you hear your fans going wild in the stadium. I mean c’mon, college is all about playing for the love, leaving out on the court, you have to give a sense of energy.
#5 Practice
I was very shocked at the amount of drills this game had, and I enjoyed them. I spent an hour doing the 3 on 3, 2 on 3, and 2 on 1 fast break drill. But I was kind of disappointed that I could not do these drills with my own team in my legacy. Something small sure, but I would like the option of practicing with my team. It doesn’t have to be required that you spend said time practicing, but I would like the option.
#6 Atmosphere, i guess you can consider #6 an accumulation of the above points. over all this game needs more of that college mystique. that feeling that makes college what it is. emotion, history, tradition, all of it.

Can we get some BLACK cheerleaders? Seriously. Doesn't have to be 50/50 (or 33/33/33) but it's just a color swatch swap.
lol...I feel ya bruh
but...1 thing i would like 2 see is the "drumline" at N.C. A&T as the school song...that would be great..i know thats a bit farfetched, but I mean I thought I may as well give it a shot..:)
