Is 2k8 coming out for ps2

I am never getting a next gen system,i have a family an i cannot just go out an buy it.Plus it is way much money,hell computers are cheaper.I have my ps2 ,it works great.It gaphics may not be as good as the next gen,but who care's.Alot of people own ps2's an if they donot make this football game for ps2 2k sports better call it quits.Ps2 still owns 50% of game market out there.Most people cannot afford or donot want to spend 400-600 for a gaming system.:thumbsdow

no, 2k5 basically maxed out what they could do on current gen... it would be a waste.

And, btw, ps2 is not 50% of the gaming market right now..

if i can make over $100 working 4 $5-6 annocing baseball games and doing scorebooks its not that hard to make money. Or SAVE ur money & buy the $300 360 system. That what i did

The graphics on now-gen Madden are better obviously. But the animations and overall looks of 2K5 are better. It looks like football. Madden doesn't. IMO, 2K5 looks better overall. I agree with you.

Don't agree. Most people don't WANT to spend the money, sure. But $500 isn't a stretch for many these days. Fact is, one either gets with the times, or time moves on without them. That's life.

your a funny guy, just that if a guy states he can't afford a system then you should just maybe appreciate a guys circumstances. When you have kids, working all day just to pay your bills, feed your kids...makes you realise that there may not be any spare cash for a luxury like a next gen console. I didn't say a thing about the OP. I said people can save money if they look at changing up their lifestyle. Don't eat out. Buy real food, not processed. A couple of years ago, I was spending $110 a week on groceries. Then I eliminated all processed food: packaged soup, frozen pizza, cookies, chips... all that garbage. My grocery bill is now $60-$70 a week X four weeks = $200 a month in savings

Or we could shrug our shoulders, continue on and do nothing. Me, I did something. That's all I'm saying.

as for the 30fps..yeh that sucks on the PS3, but thats the only console to play 2k8 on over here in the UK. Would prefer it on my 360 but hey 30fps is better than nothing I guess.

Although it makes me a little sick to my stomach to agree with baandje (:)), he's right.

Some how, I'm just not concerned at all because someone can't afford a 360 or PS3.

APF 2K8 won't be released for last-gen consoles; it's a current-gen game. Understand 2K Sports is a company in business to make money, not lose it.

and thats 1 of the reasons the game wont be coming out in PAL regions so if they're not empty in the pocket we are because we have to go outta our way to buy there product that didn't hit our shelfs so people like me have to consider paying $ 1000 aus dollars to buy a PS3.
