UPLOAD VIDEOS TO LEAGUE PAGE??? [Archive]

It seems we'll be able to put together highlight reels in this game...

I heard a snipit of an interview or maybe it was a preview...not sure where I'm getting this actually...but somewhere I heard that we'll be able to upload videos on league pages...

Does anyone know whether that's just like uploading any other gameplay video...or do they mean we'll be able to just zap video right from our xbox to our league page directly??? Kind of like stats for league games go...

yea cuz thats the first time i heard that, u can load higlights from ncaa 08 but never heard it from APF

...I'm not sure where I heard this, I've read so much message board stuff on this I can't remember...BUT, it's really nothing new if all they meant is that you can load vids that you take yourself onto the league site...people do that now. I see gameplay vids all over the web via capture cards, etc...I just wondered if they meant something different.

I think the guy was saying the leagues would be like NBA 2k7...I've never seen those league pages though...

I believe when allgames.com did their hands on podcast they said APF 2K8 would feature a way to make you own highlight reel. They did not go into much detail -maybe only going off what someone told them at the hands-on event or an item in the menu they noticed.

I don't think it is that far fetched. NBA 2K7 released a Reelmaker as DLC. This allowed you to create your own videos and post them on Live for others with NBA2K7 to view. I don't believe it allowed the videos to be posted on the web (or even league pages for that matter) but APF maybe using a similar tech and improved upon it.

Thank you. I was pretty sure about the highlight reel...didn't know it was limited to just LIVE though. I also remember hearing that to post a reel for NBA 2K7 you have to pay...we'll have to see how it all shakes out.

I think your thinking of NCAA 08. You can have highlight's of your games on your main menu of the game.

Jester and Inin0 are right. One of the sites that did a preview did say that we'd be able to do a highlight reel in APF; it wasn't NCAA 08 they were talking about.

Nope. I heard the same podcast. This was NEVER said.

Nope. I heard the same podcast. This was NEVER said.
It may not have been allgames.com, but it definitely was a preview about APF. It was definitely said by someone who previewed the game.

Alright, I found what I was referring to, and after reading it again, I can see that I may have been wrong; I don't think it was necessarily saying there will be a highlight reel. I just remembered the words "highlight reel". Now whether this is what the others were thinking about, I don't know. But it's what I was referring to.

From Game Informer...
