NFL sent me an email telling me to either call up comcast to complain that they are charging extra for NFL Network or contact Dish Network or DirecTV. They even give me the contact numbers to both Dish and DTV.

If they truly cared about us the consumer.... why the F did they limit us in the video game world?

I agree.I've been telling people that they should be mad at the NFL,not just EA.Most people would rather boycott EA than the NFL.It's much easier. The NBA didn't give in.

me too.... I just find it funny that they are emailing the world to cancel comcast and get DTV or Dish because comcast is charging extra for NFL Network. They don't give a F about the consumer.

lol:rotfl: such irony, a company that played the role of taking variety away from the customer turns around to suggest a customer to fight for variety...such such irony

Augh!!!

No! I work for Comcast!

Actually though... I wish I got that email. I'd send something back telling them to F.u.ck off until they end their exclusive deal with DirectTV.

You're exactly right in calling them hypocrites.

I've all along been more urinated off at the NFL than EA.

Exactly! Every other sport at least lets you pay per game for games outside your local area. NFL forces you to pay for every game even if you only want to watch your team and then you have to pay extra to get those games in HD!! To top it off, you have to get satellite and not just satellite but Direct TV.

I wouldn't say that...College Football just doesn't have the overall Defensive intensity that the pros have...but regardless, 2k probably has an even better chance of getting the NCAA rights considering their vastly superior showing of College Hoops...and the fact that a relationship exists there...In fact, I'm pretty confused about the details as to why 2k didn't put up more of a fight there....the NFL is one thing, but I thought the NCAA people would have mor sense...uh wait, I just remembered the BCS thingy:confused:

Maybe I've been spoiled, but the best football here in Texas is on Friday Nights.

fo sho... i enjoy my Sunday HD Ticket!!!! Every top game in full HD... plus my HD DVR... i start watching football around noon PT... by then... half of the first game is done so I can pretty much fast forward through commercials and just watch the game... by the time i get to the end of the 1st games.. .the 2nd games are well into the 2nd half... so i basically never see a single commercial... then the late game starts and that game is again well into the 2nd half.

i love my HD DVR!!! Freaking rocks!!!!

You asked why they screwed you over in the video game world, its because its all money, EA paid them....is it that hard for you to understand? Plus EA (Madden) sells more than 2K so they also make more money from that, got it?

Why dont you continue with the conversation instead of making a pointless immature post? Is it because you see the point I was making so you had to make some pointless post? Why?

I find the commercials during NFL Sunday more interesting than the games themselves... usually.
