Game slows down

I have mlb 2k7 for psp and about 75% of the time I start a game (even an exhibition game), everything is in slow motion. Does anyone have a solution or know why the game slows down? All I'm doing is loading my roster and my VIP profile and as soon as the game begins, its unbearably slow. Please help.

dont worry if the game slows down. That just means you are in the zone. Just like in real life when things are going good its like everything is happening in slow motion
