Photos and Video can be very misleading if hype is added to it.

The guys are not jumping 5 feet off the ground.

Don't get me wrong they have some nice jumps, but not as high as you think.
The players they are jumping over for one are in a lower stance, so seeing them jump over them gives this impression.

The player doing the actual jump gives this impression because the legs curl just like when you hurdle and we all know, at least I hope we do that hurdling doesn't require jumping, but with the right view it can appear the guy is up... up... and away.

The guys waist line is already 3 feet above ground.
So the player only needs to jump 2 feet and to hurdle as they are doing to make it appear as though they are jumping this great height which they are not.


So no 5 feet jumpers in the game.
Not in this game. Arcade games might have it in it though.

I just know some people who unfortunately do not know better and will take it word for word and start looking for flying people in the game.

Yes it is impressive and also quite embarrassing for the player who gets hurdled. :lol:

I'm particular about this because jumping was one of my natural gifts.
And I learned through the assessment test we took as atheletes how people would cheat or overstate their true capabilities. Especially the vertical jump. I'd love to go into a pro camp and do the test to see how true some of these numbers are because if the done wrong your vertical jump measurement can be very misleading.

Anyway... I think we will see some of that hurdling in the game if we take into consideration some of the interviews and attributes of the players.
I just hope they have made it where it doesn't just become a trick of the stick where the player is hurdling his way down the field.
