I Guess EA is admitting to releasing the same product over and over again...

In a candid interview with the Wall Street Journal, EA Chief Executive John Riccitiello confessed his disappointment regarding the current state of the video game industry.

"We're boring people to death and making games that are harder and harder to play," Mr. Riccitiello said. "For the most part, the industry has been rinse-and-repeat,. There's been lots of product that looked like last year's product, that looked a lot like the year before."

It's great to hear that such a big publisher is admitting that most games *cough* EA *cough* SPORTS *cough* look the same year after year, but we'll happy about it when we see words becoming facts.

I'm no EA defender, by any means.

That being said, he is not specifically trashing EA's products. The "we" refers to the video game industry as a whole.

^^ True But MEH.... why not post it on Ea boards if your going to talk EA? Ever been on them? EA boards suck like hell, its just not as good as how much better these boards are, these are of humane standard unlike the cramped up Ea ones.

We all know he was talking about EA because i dont know about him but a lot of games are not boring consumers...There are over 15 games on the 360 that i want to play but cant find the time to and non of them are EA games...And buying up exclusives on major sports games is not helping the cause any...
