anyone else plan on drafting this monster? he's got BATTERING RAM, BRANCHING TACKLES, WORKHORSE, STRENGTH BONUS...

and hes a BRONZE TIER!! thats pretty nice.

even before i knew all of his abilities, i was gonna get him, hes a steal at bronze, i hope his player model is close, cause he was a monster in real life

Yeah, he was a must for me Being a Chief fan. I dont count Marcus Allen as a Chief lol

You can't be a Chief fan and not count Marcus. He was one of the greats on that team. Anyway I am getting Okoye, being a true chiefs fan. He was my second pick after Derrick Thomas. (GREATEST EVER)

I havent read the full list of players but im assuming Steve A****er isnt in the game....its a shame i would love to hit Okoye with A****er and watch his career decline after that :P :D I love A****er...Stevie for president!

Im guessing since hey is a bronze something about him must be terrible cause he is earl cambell withouth the ability to stiffarm (Okoye has battering ram and earl has power). Im guessing his speeed is terrible casue with those abiliies he is at least silver.

Okoye wasn't a burner.....he had speed for a 250 pounder.....but the Chiefs used to bring in Barry Word as his change of pace back....he was a big guy too...but had more moves......and speed.....even took over for Okoye when he got hurt.....

Natrone Means from the Chargers is another big guy with some quick feet.....don't know what his abilities are game wise.....but he could run inside or turn the corner in the real world.....and he was north of 235 pounds too

Thats one thing i couldnt stand in 2k5,And that is,people picking players that do the work for them,Just ram into the defender and break 5 tackels a pop,and then have the nerve to say they have skill! I see this being a big thing with the NIGHTMARE! Thats why i used the Phins,no Super Rb's anywhere on their roster,you had to work and earn what you got,I like the Dave Meggett name being thrown in there,you get yards with him i know you got some game.

Ya A****er smacked him goood but that dosen't explain why he fell off the map, I have never really figured that out.
He's one dimensional...but so are a lot of guys.

He got injured, had a nagging knee injury that eventually limited him to short yardage, then another injury ended his career.

Allen was a dirty *** Raider. He came to the Chiefs over the hill. No speed left. pfft.

Actually> Okoye could run as fast as Jerry Rice in his Prime. Okoye was a bruiser, but when he got out there, he could run. He had very good speed.

I met Okoye at the Pro Bowl in 2005. I was at Duke's in Waikiki and the bar was crowded, seats scarce. We had a beach front table with extra seats. A lady comes over and asks if she and two friends could join, she motions to them one being Okoye. I didn't know who he was right off, but after introductions remembered right away. DAYUM he's a legit 6'3" 250 or 260 even today.

Anywayz, real cool guy... but I was just imagining how much it would hurt to tackle that dude head on IN PADS if you're a DB (ex: CB ricky manning jr -all of 5'7", 170lbs or so- ambled by and was awe of Okoye's size also!!!)

I'll definitely be drafting Okoye at bronze to try out...

Last i heard, he was a High School football coach in San Diego somewhere. I heard he was a very very nice guy. To bad he blew his knee though, He was awesome. HIm and Derrick Thomas are the reasons i became a Chiefs fan. So you know they will be on my team. :)

Word? That's cool... When I was chatting with him he gave me his business card and I think it was something to do with vitamins or health shakes? Nice to know he's back around football. Agreed that he's a REALLY cool guy... very humble too. Unlike Marcus Allen who appeared to be rude even to other PLAYERS.

If I remember correctly he was injured on that play when A****er hit him. A shoulder injury been so long I can;t remember, but im still sad no A****er in this game. Or Dennis Smith :(

okoye isnt gonna run over everyone, rice isnt gonna catch every pass & payton ,sanders
oj, and the rest of the gold players are not gonna be unstoppable is this game!!
alot of you are really gonna be surprised!!
yes the gold players are going to be better , but there are not gonna just dominate
the game like most of you think! better learn to play the game cause you will not be able
you just let the cpu do it for you!!!

Ya, he actually is. In 1995 my parents took me to Wisconsin for the Chiefs training camp. I had a helmet and got EVERY PLAYERS AUTOGRAPH on it except one guy who wold not sign...Marcus Allen. Big jerk.
He was washed up anyway when he got here. Unlike Joe Montana who everyone said was washed up yet he took the Chiefs to an AFC Championship and made a PRO Bowl...people forget that.
