So how many of us are just gonna create a player?!?!

So I've spent hours upon hours looking at lists of legends, thinking of who I want on my team. Finally I've come to the conclusion (after watching gametrailers video) I might just create my own gold player.

I mean after seeing the beginning of games, Rod Woodson walking up to Fred K. and saying "You ready Fred?" or having the announcers talk about the gold players. I might have to go that route. If I know 2K the way I think I do, they're gonna have a list of FIRST and LAST names programmed into the game for the Announcers to say, seeing as how I heard them even saying Generic Players names after good plays. I wanna hear them talk about Chad Johnson (yes that's my name, no I'm not the wide receiver).

Also, does it really get more fun then shining on an entire league with your own player? As yourself? If the names are programmed into the game, and especially if they have screen shots to use (since the legends pics are in game pics) then I'm almost lock for creating my gold player (atleast one)

Anyone else feeling like this??

Why do you say that? I mean, true you can only give them 3 attributes, but I feel like in an online league it will be tons of fun, and will help reduce the chances of people fighting over the same player. I guess I can see how it would be more fun to "work with what you have"..maybe if you select a player, then take his 3 attributes and create a player using those 3 attributes, if there's no player edit...

Maybe a little weaker then the other bronze corner but the fun level of knowing i'm in the game is worth it plus there is only 3bronze corner and in my templete I need 2.

Yea if I make myself a Gold player I'm making a Corner, which I'm guessing alot of people will cuz everyone can't have Night Train and Woodson...lol

I always create the same 5 players. I'm not sure what tier I'll end up putting them on. I won't know till I play the game. I'll post my ideas so far.

HB-Vasquez-G-Speed Burner/Finesse&Power/Sec. Ball Bonus
DT-Lloyd-G-Sack Master/Run Cvg/Bull Rush
CB-Fredriks-S-Speed Burner/Ball Hawk
ILB-Thorpe-B-Run Cvg
OLB-Vostof-B-Closing Speed

I may change HB & DT to silver if attributes aren't good enough and take 2 legend golds instead. I'd make them both silvers . I'd lose the sec ball bonus on HB and th Bull Rush on DT. I'd also then make my CB a bronze and drop the speed burner.
I may consider dropping them all to bronze if I feel I need the attributes of all my 5 high tier picks intact.

You guys believe that you can only have 3 abilities for gold players? I mean after reading the OS page all he did was take a question from someone else and then use it as the answer. Maybe gold CPs can have 5 abilities, who's to say they would cripple your CAP against the other greats if he's supposed to be a great himself?

how am i supposed to make michael vick with a 3 attribute limit? i need Scrambler, Rocket Arm, Quick Release, Speed Burner, Quick Feet, Break Away Burst, and Ankle Breaker.

The 321 ability limit was a horrible idea. they should have made it be 543.

Steve Young has almost the same abilites you wanted to give to Vick, so i guess picking him is the closest you can get. A Vick with just 3 skills wouldnt be realistic.

I would make Vick as having Rocket Arm, Quick Feet, and Scrambling QB. What other skills would he realistically have? Certainly not a Leadership or Stamina Bonus. Maybe Speed Burner? I think Scrambling QB refers to how well he throws while scrambling, not how well he scrambles, so you could replace this with speed burner if you wanted.

Also I feel as tho created players should all be able to get up to 5 attributes, and just be rated better at them depending on TIER..but I guess people would just always make GOLD players with 5 attributes, mixing and matching trying to be perfect. I suppose this way you cant create an overly dominant player, you either have to take one of the 5 attribute Legends or make your own player slightly less skilled
