Both very good receivers i know Rice is the best ever and what not but Carter didn't play as long and only had about 400 catches less. i think if carter played for 20 years he could have had at least 1,800 catches. that would top Jerry's 1,549. So all in all i'm still going to have to go with Jerry. But imagine them on the same team and think to yourself who would light it up more.

If your talking about who you'll pick in the game, the choice is easy; Carter is not in it.

Carter isn't in the game I don't think. But you're right: he was great. Most under-rated WR ever.

i am a little angery on why Carter isnt in the game. being a vikings fan, there really isnt any people that i am excited to use that was from the vikings, unless Carl Eller is in it then it wont be all bad.

Jerry Rice by far but then again I'm a Niners fan so I'm biased. I would have loved to see them play together but we had a beter combination for a couple of years with Rice/Owens. Just my opinion

I'm taking Cris Carter. Jerry might be considered "the greatest" but he also played on better teams and had MUCH better QBs. Well, at least while he was in his prime he did. I live in Columbus where Chris Speilman has an afternoon radio talk show. This past week he said that Cris Carter and Barry Sanders were the two greatest athletes that he ever played with. I know he didn't play with Jerry, but that’s still saying something.

Would have been nice to see CC in the game....maybe next year.

How can one not be excited about two minute Tommy Kramer? A.C is in it....now there was one under rated WR if ever I seen one.

Other note worthy Vikings in game: MickTingelhof,Ron Yary,Keith Millard, Jim Marshall....the list goes on.

Back to OP's topic....I would say JR
