Well my team is Pitt so there probably gonna be a little better than average, probably better than the actual team is since we always get worse after each tourament game.:p

We lost five of our front six, however we have a great group of freshmen and transfers coming in. It will be a rebuilding year, but the entire Mountain West conference is down so we have as good a shot as any to go to the dance, probably not back to the sweet sixteen though. ESPN always underrates us, but they never look out west anyway. 2K is usually accurate.

Anyway, I think we'll be in the upper 70's with no MWC team breaking the 80's.
Our two star players will be Jr. Wink Adams who should be in the low to mid-80's and Fr. Beas Hamga who's really raw but should be a monster in the middle with a huge wingspan and a lot of potential, maybe upper 70's for now.

He can't speak well because he hasn't been in America that long. He's still learning the language. I'm sure if you went to Cameroon and tried speaking French people will think you're slow too. Besides you're just upset that a school like UNLV recruited him better than big bad Kentucky.

As for why you're concerned with "little Beas", that sounds like a personal issue you'll have to face one day.:o

Go USC, that's my team to, with Taj Gibson a compliment for O.J. Mayo's extraordinary talent, USC will do more than last year, on the gaming system, and the hardwood

Mississippi State

returning Jamont Gordon, Charles Rhodes, Jarvis Varnado, Barry Stewart, Ben hansborough

Adding Phil Turner, Brian Johnson (transfer), elgin bailey, kodi augustus, Raven Johnson (would be a pro if not for the new rule.)

If 2k does their research they will see that we have a pretty good team. We won the SEC West last year and got better as the year went on. They probably won't though and again rate us the third worst team in the west even though we continually win West championships

I'm afraid my Sooners won't be good in the game because they have a lot of qusetion marks.
I'm hoping for a low 80 rating. I just hope they put a lot of stock into Blake Griffin as a true freshman since he was a McDonalds AA.

You think you have troubles?:)

My Duke team will be very, very rough with only a single guy over 6'9 on the ENTIRE ROSTER, and he won't even be very good. Those guards better be able to shoot 3s, cause we'll get outrebounded EVERY GAME:)

Texas A&M will be great this year and will win the Big 12. I think this will be thier starting lineup:

PG: Dominique Kirk- Senior

SF: Josh Carter- Junior
PF: Joseph Jones- Senior
C: DeAndre Jordan- Freshman

WKU is my team, we have 7 seniors this year with all starters returning (if you don't include the player that left mid-season) and last year I believe we were rated around 81 in the game. Courtney Lee is the best player on the team, he should be at least a 90. We have some nice newcomers, including the first ever Filipino-born D 1 NCAA basketball player, Mr. Kentucky Basketball, and a nice big out of Florida
I am probably looking for anywhere between 83 and 90. I know 90 wont happen, but I can dream :)

I dunno how good the Illini are going to be, but they should be pretty good. They lost Carter and McBride (two of my least fav players ever), and Arnold, too. And Jamar is sitting out for the season, but I think, if I remember correctly, Carlwell is coming back.

Pruitt is set to dominate and they got some new ballers coming in. I think they should be an 80s team but people might hate on them in the game. They always hate on the Illini in games. A lot of them don't even have accurate ratings or hometowns.

Peace

all kidding aside- say what u want, and I didnt read their posts BUT I did hear him interviewed on KentuckySportsRadio by Matt Jones and Beas is flatout clueless. He might be a good baller, but he is dumber than a sack of rocks.

but in the same genre of things, heard Jai Lucas interviewed and quite a few other prospects who went elsewhere. Beas pretty much could not answer any question with any sort of intelligence. Have nothing else to say bout any of the recruits who signed elsewhere. Lucas was a class act.

Maybe Cameroon...
Wish him luck he may be a great player some day and I wish hime luck. I am not bitter. I have nothing against UNLV. I was hoping Pitino would coach there when he came out of the pros.

Coincidentally, today the NCAA just screwed us (again) and declared him academically ineligible. This has something to do with transferring his grades from Cameroon. We have about a month to get the situation resolved. But the NCAA waited until classes were in session to personally screw us. Nobody did anything wrong, they just want to "make sure" all his paperwork is in order. It's amazing, Tark's been gone for 15 years and they still have it in for us! We even have one of the cleanest coaches in all D-1 basketball and they still come after us whenever they can! The NCAA is the most corrupt organization there is. I would much rather have the government or the mafia run the NCAA because they would have better set of morals than these hypocritical jerks!!! I mean, they're not just screwing us, they are personally messing with this kid! Now he has to go back to a prep school where he can reopen recruiting and pick one of the NCAA's favorite teams like Davon Jefferson did a couple years ago. The whole city is furious and Beas is livid. Real classy NCAA!!! I'm so mad right now, I have to hit something!!!

http://www.lvrj.com/sports/9780702.html

BTW, he reclassified himself for this year before he commited so it wasn't us (or any other college) who pressured him.

My Xavier team looks pretty decent this year despite losing four players on the team from last year (3 starters). At least we have a true center now in Kenny Frease. So if he does well we should defend the A-10 title again and should make a run into the Big Dance this year. Plus we resigned Miller to an extension so hopefully he will stay for the whole contract unlike every other coach in the past.

I'm still trying to figure out how Huggins' system with Beilein's players is going to work @ WEST VIRGINIA. The first thing he did was send them to the weight room and told them to "get stronger."

*Nichols is a great point guard with tremendous court savvy and should do well.

*De'Sean Butler is a star in the making...but understand that he is not really happy with Huggin's role for him.

*Smallington is tall...that's just about it.

*Ruoff and Joe Alexander...who knows?

Figure somewhere between 10-17 to 20-7.....that's about as close as I can predict.

Everyone sleeps on PC because they only have 4,500 students, but this year is going to be the year. We're returning 4 of 5 starters and the 5th starter, Randall Hanke, started 2 seasons ago before receiving a medical redshirt last year. We also have 3 returning bench players who got considerable minutes, and Jeff Xavier, who sat out last year after transferring from Manhattan, where he averaged close to 15 a game in a decent mid-major conference. Add in 3 impact rookies, one of whom is Clark Kellogg's son, and you have the absolute biggest sleeper in the nation. Only 4 votes for the Top 25 in the AP Poll, none is ESPN/USA Today Poll. Watch out Big East!!!

84 ovr is just a liiittle too high for the Friars, and probably for any team in the Big East except the Hoyas. Maybe 80-82, with the depth and returning starters, but 2k needs to step it the heck up with the ratings. Even in my love for PC I'm not too blind to see that's a reach.

Maryland Terrapins

Returning Starters- James Gist(PF) and Greivis Vasquez(PG/SG).

Returning Bench- Eric Hayes(PG), Bambale "Boom" Osby(C), Landon Milbourne(SF), Dave Neal(PF), and Jason McAlpin(SG).

Incoming Freshman- Adrian Bowie(PG/SG), Cliff Tucker(SF), Braxton Dupree(C), Dino Gregory(PF/SF), Shane Walker(PF), and Jerome Burney(PF RS)

I expect Maryland's rating to be somewhere between 70-74. Very young and lacking experience. I would be satisfied with any rating around there. Can't wait to play this game.
