Why no advertising.

In my opinion it's because 2k doesn't have the resources(money) that EA does. They historically have not been good at advertising, and you can't really expect them to be able to advertise when they haven't had they're best game out in 3 years. Just my opinion though.

Tell me this, then why in the hell haven't many people seen these ads. Why has there been a extreme lack of info when compared to madden. Hmmm, maybe you are the one that is ignorant because running webisodes doesn't really compare to having ads constantly on tv. So in my opinion like i said the advertising is not on par with madden, or even ncaa. Sorry your my are the ignorant one.

If the advertising is so good how come no one knows 100% when the games coming out, some places said the 16th some said the 17 and some say the 18th!!! Worst release ever!!! I know when madden and ncaa 08 come out, and so do the retailers!!!!

Madden has more advertising because EA can afford it. Why?

1) EA is more successful than 2K

2) Madden has sold many more copies than 2K football the past couple years

3) Madden spends very little changing the game year-to-year (minor tweaks don't require much time, energy, or resources) - especially compared to 2K's APF, Madden 08's designing budget should've been much smaller

I agree that 2k is not on par with EA when it comes to marketing...that is a given so you havent stated anything that everyone doesnt know....but what annoys me is just you say NO advertising as in ZERO!!!!

There are print ads...ads on the internet and comercials running on quite a few networks. They arent gonna have the money to run ads as much and consistently as Madden.

The plan from what I can see is too release the game and continue to run there ads...check football ressurected.com. Theyhave specific dates ...the 1st episode was Rakin...the 2nd was Chali 2na...and the 3rd will start airing on the 18th of this month.

Release the game....run ads through out the release and after......
