The game shipped today (Monday) and should be in the hands of most stores this afternoon/evening. Before driving to various stores, it would be a good idea to call and make sure they are selling the game. Many stores may not sell the game until tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon because they either want to get it on the shelves first, or they may not have their shipment in yet.
Stores like Walmart, Best Buy, and Target sometimes get their shipments in a day or two later than dedicated game stores. You should call your area superstore before assuming that you can purchase the game at midnight or early in the morning. 24 Hour stores like Walmart usually put their games out very early in the morning (5:00 AM - 8:00 AM), but a nice employee may be willing to search the boxes in the back for you.
