Some very, very positive reviews over at gamespot, etc..., I would be willing to bet my paycheck on an extremely early release of that popular generic nfl game from Electronic Farts to keep their fanbase interested in what they're peddling. Mark my words.

Nah brotha. They already tried it in Madden 08. When you start playing the game, you can unlock legendary players such as Walter Payton. Good try but there won't be any indication that you would be playing with sweetness except the name and number on the jersey. With 2k, I get a scissors kick baby :D

I read a couple....kinda of bogus reviews. One poster wrote great online play, NO WAY you can know that at this time. And if the game as major glitches its going to be a coaster. But I do hope its great and kicks EA butt.

I honestly don't understand why everyone thinks this game is going to cut into EA's sales. It's not, a lot of people will get this game, but the fact is a lot more are going to get Madden because it's Madden. Let's all be honest, the reviews don't matter, we've already made up our mind which game we're getting, and so has everyone else. If anything, people would get both, but EA won't be hurting because this game exists.

I don't really care if it cuts into EA's sales, it's clearly already gotten EA to start trying again, as evidenced by the fact that this is the first Madden in years that looks to has some innovation in it.
Honestly, I might even buy Madden. I swore I wouldn't, and at first my need for real rosters tempted me, but the fact that Madden 08 looks....good, is really making me consider it.
