I went to 2 EBgames, 1 Funcoland (yea..funcoland), 1 toys R us, target, and walmart. I also called different targets and walmarts.

my conclusion... i hate all these places for their overall lack of knowledge. every single one of these places that i went to had NCAA 2008 posters and promotions everywhere, as well as Madden 08 posters everywhere.

at one EBgames I went to... the conversation went like this.

Me: "Hi, quick questions, you guys get All Pro Football 2k8 in?"
Guy 1: "no we didn't get it in yet..."
Me: "Oh, I noticed you guys are sellin ncaa 08 at midnight, any chance you'd be seeling APF2k8 then too?"
Guy 1: "no we wont."
guy 2: "we dont even got it in yet.."
Me: "you know when you'll be gettin it in?"
Guy 1: "no idea"
Me: "oh.. ok... thanks.."
Guy 2: "i dunno why u want a sucky game anyway.. that game is sucks man."
Me: "c'mon now... you ever play espn 2k5?... i loved that game"
Guy 2: "Yea... i wasnt a big fan tho..."
Guy 1: "Yea i play the original 2k series on the Dreamcast, after that it just started to suck..."
Guy 2: "yea... it went downhill after it started goin' to other systems..."

Me: "well... i loved 2k5.. the game play... presentation... everything... but yea, i gotta go... u guys have a good day..."
Guy2: "yea.. have fun finding High School Football 2k8... I mean... All pro football 2k8..."
Me: "yea wutever..."

unbelievable...

all the walmarts and targets I've called.. .most don't even kno what All Pro Football 2k8 is... on guy said "oh... we have NCAA 08 which we'll release at Midnight..."

another guy at Target was a fan... he said "UNFORTUNATELY we haven't got it in it... but lemme double check..."

Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow... gonna wake around 9am to go look for it at 10am.
and yes i do have a life... i got summer session classes at Univ. of MD 6-10 m-th and work all weekend at a bank. i've just been waiting too damn long for this game!

even if there was a high school 2k8 it would still be better than madden probably. look at ncaa people like me play that game and can't name more than 10 college players, so they are all just a bunch of #'s playing football. at least in apf2k8 you have players that were in the nfl at one point so it is not fake at all, now blitz is considered fake.

the conversation took place in the EBgames at lakeforest mall gaithersburg, md.

I went to the target and walmart in Germantown, MD. they are like right next to eachother. I called Walmart and target in Frederick, MD, which is closer to where i live. I was on my way back from College Park, so i stopped by germantown around 9pm.

ur absolutely right about the college players... ncaa are like a bunch of generic players to me... i honestly dont kno about any college players until talks about the NFL draft comes up. LOL!
