Wow, I finally got online to work for the ps3...it was just amazing! No lag (I only have 384/384 speed too!)
Anywho
No Lag
No going for it on 4th down (both players played real)
He choose an offensive heavy team to counter by defensive team (I don't want to give it away, but its basically all D)
It was a battle until the fourth quarter - No one could manage to move the ball. He was using Montana - perhaps Mario would have been better as I sacked him about 8 times but he just didn't have time to get rid of the ball. I on the other hand couldn't put up any offense, he had two Silver D lineman on the same side and played heavy to the other side so I had no where to go...my only outlet were my two silver receivers which were just burning his DB's but I couldn't ever establish a good enough drive to score - missed one field goal and made a mistake on an HB screen that would have turned out big
Anywho, when I first got the game I couldn't figure it out - you really need to have a good team cominbation and they must all work together or you won't enjoy the game because you aren't able to do anything in it
final score 7-0 because walter payton broke a 55 yard TD.
To anyone who says its too slow - get some better receivers! I have two silver receivers and can tell you they are not slow at all
Wow, that was a sweet online game - This game is actually the only PS3 game I own but it is one of the best games I have ever played - I just love playing Chess now with Football instead of cheese with Madden
Goodbye to all those madden guys who love to just bomb the ball and run to the outside...it takes your quarterback a little bit of time to throw those bombs now and in that time I usually get to you if you don't bring any additional help in the backfield to block :D
